A perfect location for relaxation, recreation and exercise for both registered members and visitors. The facility houses a number of event halls for celebratory events with adequate parking space for visitors. Top of it all, it is located at the ever busy part of Surulere.

It was a nice experience at the Eko Club where notable individuals in Lagos state celebrates. They have a hall dedicated to the Oba of Lagos where Lawn Tennis is played, a hall to host event, a newly built one also tagged Bamboo Elegushi. The place visited has a car park space but not very accomodating.

The Place is alright. Though, lots of renovations and maintenance work are on going at the venue. The security from the entrance is good to the local standard of the community. There are space for different event activities be it indoors and outdoors.The green environment needed to be improved unpon as more of the flowers needs more attention and cultivation. The colors painted both indoor and outdoor is not inviting, more needed to be done to select a very appealing color with improved Artistic design. Except if this colors are that of the Eko Club standard. The centre is still one of the affordable event centre in Surulere area, located in an easy to locate neighborhood.

PREAMBLE We Blessed members of Eko Club in the spirit of Socio-Cultural understanding, having solemly resolved to organize ourselves into an entity dedicated to the promotion of the cherished traditions of Lagos and for the general benefits of all concerned “DO HEREBY GIVE UNTO OURSELVES THIS CONSTTUTION”. SUPREMACY OF THE CONSTITUTION Subject to the provision of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as amended, the Constitution shall have a binding effect on all blessed members of our great Club. Any rule, regulation and/or order however made by an Organ of the Club which may be inconsistent with the provisions of the Constitution shall be void to the extent of its inconsistency. Mission statement. Eko Club is a socio-cultural organization established primary to protect and promote the interest of its members in all spheres of life. To make where necessary, useful contribution (that must be non- political) to the development of Lagos State and Nigeria. The Club Flag : The Clubs flag consist of the logo mounted on a white background with three (3) vertical stripes of Oranges, Blue and Black. White representing peace Oranges representing the wellbeing of members Blue depicting the lagoon and Black representing the black race. The club’’ badge, White Cap (Keremesi) depicting our Aquatic Splendor Eyo depicting our heritage Fish in the blue lagoon depicting our Aquatic Splendor The cowries representing our traditional ancient currency mounted on a white background to show national peac and bretherliness. Club Policy. The constitution contains forty-one (41) articles. The foundation members are ninety three (93 ) in numbers . The club has a grand patron who shall always be the Oba of Lagos. It also has six patrons in number; one of whom shall be executive Governor of Lagos State. AIMS AND OBJECTS i. To foster and promote fellowship and brotherhood among the members. ii. To support all proper and lawful actions that are calculated to be in the in the interest and welfare of the members. iii. To promote and organize social, cultural, educational, sporting and other forms of activities and co-operation between the club and other similar organizations in order to encourage understanding band fellowship. iv. To raise funds by way of mortgage, charges or creating debentures or pledges of any real or corporate properties of club, in the interest and welfare of its members. v. To promote and protect the interest and welfare of the indigenes of Lagos State in socio-economic development of the state. vi. To invest and deal with the monies or such security of Club in the mutual interest of its members. vii. To do all such other things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above aims and the objects or any of them.
