Velvet is a great place to have good food and chill (its actually the restaurant formerly called Piccolo Mondo, off Adeola Odeku in Victoria island). The ambience is nice and calm, the decor looks great and the food is good; so are the drinks though my cocktail was a bit too diluted (not a big deal though). The waiters are also attentive and responsive. All in all its quite a cool place.

Extremely packed club. Recommended to go early. Forget about it if you don’t get a table. The amount of traffic you will have to fight through to get to the bar would make you wish you brought in your own moonshine. Regardless the club is definitely “lit” as the young ones say. The music span brought back many memories. The DJ was fantastic.

Looking for a club in Lagos, this is the place to go. Was there with a couple of friends over the weekend and it was great. Awesome DJ too and all round great vibe. I was there on a Friday night, so it was quite packed. My advice is that you get there by 12am, latest, on a Friday night. If you want to get a table or at least a decent place to seat before it gets really full.

The ambience is beautiful with a sophisticated feel. Customer service is excellent with attention to every little details. The crowd too is decent and the music is subtle enough to allow for a very quiet conversation. Parking space is an ish, but that is just a luxury very few restaurants can boast of in Lagos. It was a pretty spot for my anniversary. I will visit again.

Velvett is one of the go-to Lagos clubs at the moment. The only time I was here, the place was overcrowded and we didn’t get good seats. We had to perch some where close to the door after several moments of going round and round. When we finally thought we had settled down, some lady came to complain to the attendant who gave us the seats, saying she reserved them for some other people. Apart from that, the experience was okay.

If you are a first time visitor here especially on other days, you will be surprised to see how transformed it gets on Friday night! Dj is off the hook! Not spacious for a club but you tend to have a taste of class and fun. Other days are usually very cozy and calm to hang out. It could be business wise, lovey-dovey wise or with a couple of friends or just you, yourself and you! Oh before I forget, awesome friendly staff!
