Stopped by for Sunday brunch and had the Big Sugar Breakfast (Eggs, bacon, sausages, grilled tomato, baked beans, sautéed potatoes and toast). Also had the American Pancakes and Mixed Berry Smoothie. The smoothie and pancakes were very nice but I found the breakfast to be a bit bland. It was filling though and the waiters were attentive and didn’t take a lot of time to get the food. They also have valet parking which is good, so you don’t have to go out to re park when a customer wants to leave. A good experience and will definitely visit again

Sugarcane has a cool and lively vibe with a minimalist design and great lighting. The outdoor patio is also very BEAUTIFUL. The menu is rich and affordable. I had the best hummus and guacamole ever, and left with a smile on my face. The complimentary cinnamon sprinkled popcorn is a plus. And oh, by the way, breakfast is served all day!!! So the place is good, has an American dinner kind of setting. My issue was with the food itself, they can make their brunch options better in terms of flavour, like the waffles I could taste the baking soda, the ice cream had frost bites and felt like it wasn’t homemade but bought from a grocery store and has sat in the freezer for a longtime. I would recommend their pasta options, great portions and decent presentation, the waitress that served us though was very slow and acted like she didn’t want to be there. Aside from all this everything else was great.

It is an ok place actually, I’ll say overrated although their food tastes really good and the idea of the complimentary popcorn is cool. Their prices on an average are ok actually, I mean you’ll think with the 3 ‘$$$’ showing you’ll expect sth way out of the blues but it was average though. They had the valet parking thing yeah, pleasant staff and really helpful, overall experience - good. Do I recommend- yes.

Good location, very good food, prompt service, fair ambience. Prices are also fair for the quality and quantity of food. There is a resonance that runs through the atmosphere when the restaurant is filled with people, so your conversations might be slightly loud. But very good service and the valet parking eases your concern of wasting much time trying to settle.

Sugarcane, for me is a good Restaurant located just at a good enough spot in VI. The menu is big enough to accommodate your variety, but that’s if you’re looking for something over the top. The interior and exterior decorations are mind blowing, cozy and colorful. I visited it for the First time, and it was awesome. I only figured they really don’t a spot to get your hands washed within the sitting area, so you’d have to use the restroom for that. I mentioned this to the Waiter who served me and hopefully it will be looked into.

Sugarcane is a nice restaurant, a very nice place to have breakfast with friendly staff. Valet services are available which saves me the stress of parking my car. Ambience is okay and their prices are affordable based on the location. I had issues with my payment because the bill handed to me was different from what I was charged. The restaurant added an additional cost of gratuity to my receipt. The garlic bread I had in the restaurant was different from the take away garlic bread I took as takeaway. I was not also impressed with the calamary I bought as takeaway. Overall I was not wowed the way I expected but it was just okay.

A restaurant for the instagram generation with a very beautiful and kitschy space that photographs well. A very confused menu to say the least (who designs these things? Do you guys all share a chef?). The food is absolutely horrendous and could have been cooked by your mates at home.... I had a concoction of mashed plantain and some peppered beef stew whilst my date had some fairy stodgy waffles and yet more dry chicken. Service is abysmall, I quite frankly just wanted to get out out of the place.

I had passed this place numerous times and decided to stop by for brunch today. My food was ok. I had the Big Breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and toast. I had to ask for a side of hot pepper because the eggs tasted bland. The sausages were soggy also. I think my order was an exception. My partner was very happy with her chicken and waffle sandwich. The ambiance is great and the fresh fruit juices excellent. On the whole a nice experience.

I went to Sugarcane in December 2017 and loved it! I actually went twice, once to try the outside menu and another time to try the inside menu. Service was great and the vibe was super chill. I ordered the red velvet waffles for dessert and even though it did not come with ice cream the waiter still gave me a bowl of one because I asked for it. It was a nice touch. I definitely recommend the Suya burger from the outside menu or the mofongo and beans for the inside menu. For dessert the red velvet waffles or the brownie waffles were fantastic. All in all, I had a great experience and will definitely go back!
