Census Market is a relatively small market located around Babs Animashaun road and its extension very close to the NYSC national secretariat in Surulere. Its serves part of Surulere and Aguda communities. This market just like other local markets around, has sections of different categories of items such as plastic, beverages, vegetables, meat and fish, pepper sections etc. Prices of goods and services here are not so expensive.

I would say its okay because all manner of foodstuffs are been sold there but the market is too small and its just at the end of the street in between different roads. No parking space this also causes bad traffic and its not just a safe idea.

Just a small market but you can get lots there for your stew, soup, salad, frozen foods and even some household equipment and laundry tools. I once got a cartoon of Chicken here at a rwasonable price compared to supermarkets. You can park opposite the uba bank there. Is open till about 8pm. At least i bought my chicken at about that time. Lol

People say the market is expensive but I find myself always going back. I have sellers who have made me a loyal customer cos they go the extra mile to please me asides selling their goods. Some help me carry my stuffs to the car, one lady that sells ugwu leaves practically takes my list from me and goes round the market to buy everything on it for me and even comes back with change which I leave for her as tips for the kind assistance. Until I move out of Surulere, this is the market I will patronize.
