This is the bus terminal of BRT buses in Lagos State. Their route are mostly Oshodi, Berger, Ikeja, Leventis, Fadeyi, Ikorodu, barracks and more. Bus fair are relatively cheap with good AC buses with over 30 people capacity and well trained drivers. Lagos traffic is usually crazy so I rather go home in a bus that is comfortable and safe. There is also handicapped and wheel access entrance too.

Nothing spectacular other than the creation of some organisation for buses to pick commuters in a place that used to be chaotic. Very long waits for buses, especially the older darker blue buses. No public toilets, which is disappointing considering that you could be standing waiting for buses for as long as 2hrs. So make sure you ease yourself elsewhere before going to TBS terminus!

It’s one of the central places on Lagos Island where you can get the BRT buses going to different areas of Lagos. There are designated areas for. Uses plying different routes. Tickets are to be purchased from the ticketing booths before joining an orderly queue whilst waiting for the buses. There are canopies overhead to shield passengers from the sun or rain depending on the season. There are small kiosks around where you can buy anything you need from food, snacks, water, handkerchief and maybe a razor blade. Lost in Lagos and looking for a place to get a bus to any area in Lagos, this is your best bet.

The bus terminal is up to standard, reason for my less than 5 stars is because of the process involved to get on the busses. Firstly if you’re not coming from Ikoyi/awolowo road to TBS you’d have to trek down to purchase ticket before walking back up to either board or join the queue for bus. Generally from 4:45pm the queues get indescribably long and buses become scarce then the supervisors there start playing games of favoritism in telling the buses what passengers to carry. The queue to Berger is alway long. They should provide more buses for Berger trips

Still has a lovely infrastructure despite being in existence for sometime now. You can get buses going to Ajah, Ikorodu, Oshodi, Mile 12, Maryland etc. The drawback about this bus terminal for me would be the waiting time and the destination board not being explicitly displayed giving commuters a hard time identifying their correct bus. The waiting time for me was 45 minutes as all available buses was being routed to Ikorodu leaving those of us going to other destinations to form very long queues. The ticketing points should be across the terminal not just one point making it a hassle to get tickets and having to walk all the way to the end of the terminal if you came in through the opposite side of the ticketing booths.

TBS Bus Terminal has lovely view, the environment is always clean and neat. It features a very sophisticated arena, dedicated driveways, taxi park, large screen display, CCTV coverage, covered stand against bad weather, terminal offices, clean public restrooms and has wheelchair accessibility for disabled as well. The BRT Bus has different roots like TBS to Ikorodu, Fadeyi, Costain, Mile12, Ketu and so many. The bus has become the choice of many people because they run on separate lanes and faster than Lagos yellow buses that always get stuck in traffic.
