Lekki toll plaza an avenue of theft on Lekki ajah express way. They will waste you time switch off all regular lane and switch you to the exact fare. When you get to the exact fare lane the toll attendant will tell you no change there by wasting commuters time and creating unnneccsary long queue that can be avoided. This toll operators needs to be checkmate to avoid undue hardship to commuters on that ROUTE

The Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge itself is a world class rope bridge construction by Julius Berger which has completely changed the outlook of this area as it provides a quick link between Ikoyi and Lekki. The bridge was however tolled to enable it claw back some funds invested in its construction and perhaps its maintenance also. The traffic snarls around this toll is legendary and more often than not annoying. Distance that should be covered in minutes can sometimes be covered in 15 or more minutes depending on the time of the day.

It takes tolls for the maintenance of Lekki Epe express way, there are at least 4 toll passes per direction, with one taking exact fares and another one for electronic payment. Traffic easily builds up at peak times and sometimes traffic volume can cause build up. Average time spent can vary between 10 - 20 minutes.

This is the link bridge from Lekki to Ikoyi, the bridge was built to meet up international standards, with good lighting for night road users. The staff operating the bridge are courteous; but the bridge is still not able to cater for the heavy flow of traffic along that route, thus causing heavy traffic for commuters who still have to pay the toll.
