The food is good. There’s a healthy variety of both local and international cuisine. It’s a hotel I would visit again because it’s classy, purposefully built(this isn’t common in certain parts of town as most hotels maximize their land) so I love the fact that the ground has some space and definitely isn’t cheap.

I had heard so many things about this hotel so I went with high expectations. I wasn’t disappointed. It was a pretty busy night when we came in so I went straight to their pool area.. It had less crowd and more privacy .. However I really should comment on how clean the pool looked..Probably the cleanest pool I’ve seen in all of Lagos. We sat and decided we’d order wine. They had some pretty great wine..But hey, I was working on a budget. I found a bottle of white wine for about N15,000 and ordered.. It was brought promptly. We order a meal, I wanted a chicken burger and fries while my partner ordered a sandwich..This was the tricky part.. It took a bit for both to be prepare.. we don’t know if it was their standard wait time or because it was a busy night in the kitchen. While we waited, we were served some complimentary nuts and chips. My burger came and while the bun was not as soft as I had anticipated, it tasted great,. My partner loved his sandwich as well.. This isn’t a 5 ⭐️ review because of the wait time and the bun.. everything else was perfect..our bill came up to N25,500 which wasn’t bad at all. Kindly forgive my not so brightly lit pictures..it was a little late.

Next, the wheelchair accessible entrance can be found on the right side of the reception entrance. The staff here are really welcoming and friendly. The George is well known for their mouthwatering delicacies, though the price is usually on the high side. Whether you are one who loves to swim or not, the pool side is there for you to either just sit and relax or enter to have a feel of the water.

Attended the google local guide event at this hotel. Overall, the hotel ambience was excellent and warm. The food was also exciting and the cooking was on point. I had a challenge accessing the hotel though. Please watch out - the map may direct you to the back of the hotel. If this is the case, turn to the next street and look for the entrance.

The George hotel is quiet, calm, well-crafted, Italian themed hotel. The art works are lovely, meals taste great and staff well cultured. In my opinion, their price is the main differentiator compared to the rest if the hotels in their category. Going at about 125-135k per night, this is the most expensive hotels I have slept in Nigeria. If you are a celebrity, or earn in usd and would love to hide away from public attention, this is for you as it is sitted on Luggard road in Ikoyi so security and calmness is assured. If you are an every day individual, there are a lot of hotels and accommodations you can get better value for your money with exactly if not superior services.

Splendid hotel. Has beautiful swimming pool and ample parking space. The entrance seems rather inside facing rather than the expected main road. The street leading to the entrance is also a bit bad. Nevertheless, the hotel itself is located in a quiet neighborhood and the surrounding is serene. The staff are courteous and the foods are very nice too. Safe for the bad road leading to the entrance and the rather hidden entrance, the hotel would have got my 5 star

My hotel stay here was the absolute best experience. The staff were attentive and customer service was excellent. Although this hotel is expensive, it was worth every penny. The rooms are beautiful with a contemporary style. My favorite part of my stay was the Sunday brunch, which boasted local and international cuisine along with live music. The manager of the property was a delight and he and his staff when above and beyond to take care of myself and my family. Will definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself!

Had a very bad experience at this hotel and will not recommend it to anyone . It was the worse quality of service , I ever had in any hotel , let alone a 5 star , and I told them so . Was at the hotel’s main Reastaurant with some other board members of Bellavista apartments on Wednesday 13th November. We were having a meeting to be followed by dinner . The Assistant manager , who refused to give me his name , came up to our table , as I tried to inform him that I had asked one of the waiters for a bottle of water for over an hour , he rudely responded that “ he was not here for that “ . I went further to explain to him that we were having dinner shortly , again , he rudely told me that “ don’t go there “ and when I responded that I will not be having dinner because of his rudeness, his response was “ leave if you want to “ Having stayed in many 5 start hotels all over the world and in Lagos , I was shocked . As I got up to leave and refused to have dinner at the hotel because of his rudeness , some of the others on my table also did . As we left , I asked for the manger or owner , he followed me shouting loudly in front of the other guests that I should go ahead and call them now to complain. I felt he knew that my complaints would not be addressed , and he was right ! I went to the reception and asked to speak to the GM, one Mr Theo Tiemessan, he listened to my complains and didn’t say a word, not an explanation or apology . I left him my email address and never heard back from him or anyone at the hotel . I am writing this to let other guests know that service in this hotel is the worst I have experienced in any , let alone a 5 star. I and my group will certainly never stay or dine there in the future .

Serene environment, organised staffs from security at the gate, to managing parking space, the atmosphere is home away from home, security from both in and out is on point, route within the building is easily navigated, well spaced rooms and halls, meeting room is fully packaged and well organised for management meetings. Awesome swimming pool with good detail info as how depth it is to take caution while in the swimming pool. Edit, the toilet alone is cool, that I can eat right in there without worries

Such a lovely place for a weekend gateaway. I had the opportunity of visiting the Gym, it was breath taking. The tread mill, weights, mirrors and space whoop. The gym has it a well built and structured restroom male and female both enclosed with two toliet each and a bathroom which has a Sleek shower. I was so impressed. The concierge and staff here are some friendly and welcoming. It never felt like I was out of home. The food, OMG, the food was awesome. Small chops and Tapas, African dishes fruits and vegetables all made professionally with quality in mind.

The George hotel is actually one of the hotels I felt was too pricey until I took the bold step to stay for a weekend. This luxury boutique hotel has 61 rooms, the classic rooms, executive rooms, classic suites and penthouse house suites with private balcony overlooking ikoyi houses, the garden and pool. The hotel decor is rich and the art collections are breathe taking, the cuisine is astounding they offer free WiFi in all areas. The staffs are well trained and friendly, I watched the staff at the reception check me in swiftly hospitality to them was key! When I had a chat with one of the staffs he told me Naomi Campbell was there for a month and bill gates has actually stayed there before. The security there is very tight and I will recommend this hotel for travelers who want privacy, security and serenity. The hotel also have a pool, a gym and a roof top where you can have cocktail meetings. They do not have a spa but partnered with another spa company which is some mins away from the hotel.

The waitresses could do with better training though - takes them forever to get you a drink. All the facilities are new and modern and the George has spared no expense preferring quality to quantity. If you can afford it, I’d highly recommend this hotel whenever you’re in Lagos.
