Deji BodunwaGreat space...I really love the native African vibe it has. The food is also amazing. I had the goat meat and noodle pepper soup and it was divine.

Happy IgnisIt is a serene place for people who appreciate serenity. On Friday night, there is a live performance serenading the guests. It sure feels like the 40s 50, 60, 70s. I would say it is best for a vintage experience.

Leke AdelajaBogobiri is one of my favorite places in Lagos , it combines art with food, culture and hospitality. It offers great foods and drinks with an art gallery, a gift shop, a beautifully designed restaurant and there are lovely rooms to spend. It offers event for different days of the week, music night, karaoke and open mic are some of the major attractions. If you are a lover of art be ready to feel the real African culture at Bogobiri

I
ibrahim olawaleBogobiri is located in the high brow area of Ikoyi. It is one of the many spots to visit in Lagos that come alive mainly at night. It’s a unique place where food meets arts. You would want to go to Bogobiri on Thursday nights for ‘freedom hall’ and Friday nights for ‘Taruwa’. If you’re a lover of spoken word and good music – from jazz to Highlife and AfroBeat – then Bogobiri is for you! Interestingly, it also offers space for occasions like bridal showers, birthdays and more.

K
kola alaxThis is like a heritage spot of sorts. They have a nice museumish setting. A mini market that for cultural and traditional goods. There is a lot of space and ample parking. It’s in a very good location. The staff are really helpful. We got free drinks when I visited, it was an open mike night. No smoking inside but a very big smoking area at the back. I didn’t go upstairs, but it was a nice experience in all.
-
B
Bukola AgoroI went on a night out with girls, started a bit dull, I think the music could have been better. Good drinks menu, but they barely had anything on the menu. Turned out to be a good night once the open mic started and people started performing. Best going early if you prefer sitting down.

Sowemimo Olubukola JamesThursday nights at Bogobiri is absolutely fabulous. Open mic, the resident band play the loveliest local and international songs blended with the unpredictability of talented people singing and dishing out word works, really no better way to spend a Thursday evening. Puts you in a great mood for Friday. NGN 500 entry fee though. But worth every single minute spent
-

S
Sam ShihouOnly giving it 4 stars because the vibe can be hit and miss. That being said when the vibe is right, the place is popping! I tend to go on Thursday Evenings for their Open Mic Night. The in house band, The Veterans are some talented dudes. They are honestly what keep me coming. Their covers of old and new songs, local and international, are always on point and full of spirit. Lolo is an excellent host for the evenings; nice, welcoming and knows how to get the crowd hyped. She has an excellent voice as well. If you’re going to the open mic night I advise you get there as early as you can. Seats can and will disappear quickly and there isn’t much/any standing room to speak of.

Shyam SunderAmazing Place. Different environment. Must visit place..
-
S
Shaun D BennettWhat an eye feast. Colour all round. Artworks placed all around the venue. Can be confusing for first time visitors trying to find your way around. Inside the hotel, reception & bar area cosy & intimate. You can feel the African art coming out of the place. The gallery is next door upstairs. Artworks by Nigerian artists mainly. Available artwork for sale, if you can afford it. On site artist studio available for viewing. Parking could be an issue if something is happening at the venue. Situated in a quiet side street, so can be suitable for a romantic night. Downstairs below the gallery, is a space for vendors selling there art.

Stephen David SimonThe guest house is extraordinary. Beautiful room, artwork and book shelves around every corner, wonderful, warm staff (and guests). The is not a multinational luxury hotel, so no jacuzzi tubs or adjustable number beds. But a wonderful place to stay that will give you memories just for a night there. Live music in house and next door a few nights a week.

-
O
Olufisayo OjomoThe decor is old with a little taste of vintage. The place is not thoroughly cleaned, they do have courteous staff though, and the menu looks rich... But the food was a little bland for me, I had Grilled Croaker fish and White Rice with sauce while my date had Prawns and White rice with Same sauce and a chapman she rated below average. The ambience though is very cool and littered with lots of art works. For a meal for 2, you should be okay with like 12k. Would want to see their famed Nite Groove, where there is a live band and a better drinks mixer.
-
E
Ese AtakpuBohemian ambience. Books, art, arty folk. Not bad

From the Thursday night "Freedom Hall" and Tuesday night TARUWA which offers a platform for new talent in "spoken word" and music to the weekend High Life, Jazz and Afrobeat shows by more established performers. The lights, the broken glasses on the wall, the wood, the decoration, art, paintings and the cats is just too beautiful to adore. I will recommend this place to thinkers and creative minds. Funny enough, night life here is mind blowing. Try their palm wine and thank me later*winks*. Guys you can bring your babes here on a date. Girls, trust me you can take selfies here for years.
-
E
Ernest BerkhoutBogobiri is a place for creative people to show off their talent, rapping, singing, strumming and reciting. Not all of it is world class, but a few of the people you see there on a Thursday might make it. Well worth visiting around 8 pm.

A
Adeyinka OtunbaSo I have always heard about bogobiri for over 5yrs and I decided to stop by today. First I love the ambiance and music. However I have a serious problem with there service as regards waiters etc. Nobody comes to ask you what you want to eat or drink you gotta go to the bar, well I thought ok fair enough but then the food takes forever to be served, after an hour of ordering he comes back to say oh there is no fries for an order I placed an hour ago. Walked to bar to go check on my orders then he says no steak. Not his fault though he is the only one attending to everyone. Something needs to be done about it.
-
T
Temitope AdegbohunSerene environment
-
J
Joy WiseI like the traditional Nigerian feel that comes with guest house, but the staff can be selective as to whom and what guest to treat right. Toiletries are very low in supplies, always remember to come with a bulk for your personal use so as not to be disappointed.
-

-
A
Abraham BaptisteIts an excellent live / alternate music venue to be at every Thursday. The food is decent too. It probably needs a bigger space though. Can never quite accomodate the large numbers that throng the space so make sure to get there early on a Thursday night, say 6.30PM. Other nights not so bad.

Iye HassanIts a cool event place, perfect for a listening and live performance with a small crowd though. The theme of the place is very original and they also have great display of art work from great artist across Africa.

erhio77Friendly environment that basically gives you a home away from home feeling.
-
D
David OgundekoThe food here is amazing. Try the chicken peri peri, so much value in quantity and quality for the asking price. The food here has a certain homely taste of freshly blended peppers and very little processing. Parking is almost non existent though.

O
Ogo MaduewesiAt Bogobiri Restaurant, fresh palmwine is served with tasty local dishes.... One of the unique vintage hangout place in Ikoyi Lagos, with that African fabrics and furnitures. Interesting environment and quite tasty foods. Yes, the food tastes really nice like home foods (unfortunately forgot to get a picture) of the common nice soup dishes, edikainkang, Ewedu, gbegiri, white soup, fresh okro... The live music was great however too loud, power fluctuated (yes it is in naija), but in all nice. You got to be careful with their palmwine, I think something is not right with it.
-
