Enjoyed my plate of Starch and Owho Soup however, the place we stayed - the inner room needs a bit more attention as it comes off as old. A brief stop at the outer rooms looked better.

The food is really nice, well prepared and well seasoned. The portions are pretty large as well. Food is prepared as you order, or so we were told. The service is very good. The ambience was nice as well. Decorations were done to introduce the African/ native aura, with the use of African print, wood, pictures of native food and kitchen utensils as wall hangings. The process were not too bad, considering the food portion. There is also Chapman!

If you are from the southern part of NIGERIA or enjoy their meals, then Delta Pot is the best place to visit in Lagos. The food is delicious and the environment is somewhat okay. Let’s say it needs to be renovated. For football lovers, you can enjoy a good meal while watching your favorite team play and also with a cold drink of your choice - Alcoholic or non-alcoholic. Parking can be stressful during rush hour, so you can expect that. In addition, the wait time can be annoying, my advice is to call them and place your order before you arrive. Well, for first timers, you can ask for their menu. Overall, Delta Pot is known for their local delicacy and it’s a must visit. My favorite is Banga Soup and Starch. E.O

This is your go-to for original Delta cuisine. They serve the very BEST banga soup in Lagos. It’s always such a delight to see the pot bubbling as the soup is being served in their signature clay pots. On some days, the wait time can be FRUSTRATING and they could do better with the airconditioning.

Food was to be taken away. The price on the menu was different from what I was charged. I was told the were going to upgrade the prices on the menu. I made sure it was a card payment. The order was for Banga Rice. The rice was not well done and there was a lot of liquid in the food. The meat had hair on it. If I could review and award no star, I would.
