My mum booked a room overlooking the car park and I wanted to get a quick nap after a very busy day (I am a light sleeper). I couldn’t sleep a wink because of the noise from the gates and horning and as people drive in or walk down the corridor. I have stayed in hotel with no sound proof windows or rooms but this hotel is the worst. Every little sound is amplified because of how it’s designed I believe. The acoustics is horrible. I asked to be moved to the other side but I was warned the bar which is extremely loud would go on for a long tome around midnight. I was now moved to a lower grade room, with hopes it would be quieter. I didn’t care just wanted to sleep- Even though the mattress was stained and toilet disgusting. I was wrong! Was awake till 3.30am. The acoustic design is just horrible. If you want some pics and quiet don’t book this hotel.
