‪So the new scam by supermarket attendants is to increase the number of a particular item that you purchase, so you end up paying for more products but walking away with less!‬ ‪Earlier this week, I felt like having indomie and egg and so stopped by Hi Mart Superstores in Gwarinpa, picked up two eggs, a bottle of juice and some other items and proceeded to pay, on getting into the car I looked at my receipt to know the price of the juice‬. ‪And that was when I realised the the girl had charged me for three eggs at 40naira each, it’s so little money that I didn’t even notice when I was making payment at the till, but this wasn’t the first time I had noticed it, it had happened before‬! ‪That day I had bought 2 small sachets of golden morn and 4 sachets of milk and some other items, instead I paid for four sachets of golden morn and two sachets of milk, the golden morn was more expensive than the milk obviously‬! ‪I didn’t notice till only after I was already home, so when it happened the second time I went back inside for my 40naira, they do it with little items that you wouldn’t notice, it is intentional and not a mistake as they have you believe. ‬ ‪Pls check your receipt before leaving the supermarket, this buhari economy is affecting all of us, it doesn’t mean we should start cheating others, imagine doing this to at least 20 customer each day, these girls are smiling to the bank! Himart, fix up please. ‬
