This is the largest stadium in Nigeria with a capacity of 60,491. The ultra-modern sports complex cost about $360 million and was opened in 2003 ahead of the 8th All Africa Games. It is among the world’s 50 most expensive stadiums. Aside the main bowl, there are other smaller pitches, courts, pool, and so much more. Parking is not a problem. Maintenance is however not at its peak. Safety and security is well considered and access road is very good. There’s a fair amount of wheelchair accessibility too.

Well built Stadium with enough sport facilities but seem unkept /abandoned. It’s only few individuals that come to exercise here and once in a long while small sporting events. It’s okay to go and workout there as it has enough play and parking space plus there is police patrol van in the premises always. Wheelchair access is available.

I went to join lawn tennis and to put my kids in gymnastics. I was so so impressed with every work instructors put in but mehnnn that place needs maintenance. It seems the government abandoned it for individuals to take care of. I was even telling my friend this place could actually hold a World Cup if well maintained. YES anything is possible man.

This is review is for the package B National stadium around games village Abuja. At this location, you have lawn tennis, gymnastics, swimming, volleyball, basketball, badminton, hockey and some admin offices. There are always trainers on ground ready to assist. And you can get on from five hundred Naira (NGN 500). You don’t need to pay to use the facilities but you have to have your instruments. By instruments I mean, rackets, balls, gears, etc. enjoy the pictures and videos.

Went hiyaking at the complex where the tennis and one of the swimming pools are located... Apart from the fact that the surrounding areas of the complex looks complete unkempt, the lake where the kayaking activities take place is really dirty and areas around the lake is really messy... Granted, kayaking is a new sport that is gradually being accepted in this part of the world, I think people in care of this facility can expand this acceptance and not discourage the acceptance it has garnered now, by putting certain measures in place, especially hygiene, to make this place more attractive and turn it into a beehive of activities
