The biggest market in the town, has basically everything you are looking for from groceries to home electronic appliances. The major flaw is that it obstructs traffic a lot and for Yenagoa to transform into a municipality, these major markets have to be controlled to reduce their effect on the flow of traffic.
  • W

The biggest and general market in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state. You can find virtually anything: food and groceries, home furniture and accessories, electronics, reading materials etc. However, the roads are too small for the population the market attracts; customers/traders experience difficulty moving in and out the market with or without vehicles.

Large open air market situated at the far end of Yenagoa. There are multiple access roads but in various states of disrepair. You can find virtually any product (groceries, meat, arts and crafts, electronics, clothing etc) in the market but locating them is not easy. The traders are very friendly and helpful. Prices are about the best around. Hygiene is not the greatest though.
