NCDMB Yenagoa, Bayelsa State is the Regional Headquarters of the Nigerian Content Development and Management Board. This board has played a major role in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Economy since it was commissioned / established in April 22, 2010 through the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act. This board was established with a mission "To be the catalyst for the industrialization of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry and its linkage sectors” and a mission “To promote the development and utilization of in-country capacities for the industrialization of Nigeria through the effective implementation of the Nigerian Content Act.” In line with its Vision and Mission, it has trained and develop quite a number of Nigerians currently by sending them for specialized training in various sectors in the oil and gas industry. Indeed it is living to its expectation and meeting up its vision and mission that propagated its establishment.
