Unlike most camps, the hostels are nice. Two rooms get to share a toilet and bathroom. A maximum of 4 bunks per room. With a fan and two windows for proper ventilation. The doors and the drainage system can be better though.

Satisfactory: The Taraba State orientation camp is a nice place with intelligent securities, good hostel, constant water and electricity supply. I will acknowledge the team for the skill acquisition program, sports and other event. However, more camp activities that are innovative should be introduced, so as to make the corp members better Nigerians.

The market is good for food service, beer parlor service, and other services. The services are good and affordable but the sales of electronic devices cannot be trusted.

It was cold daily from the hours of 5pm - 9am and begins to get hot from about 10am to 4pm. On a general note, NYSC taraba camp is an okay place with good structures though many need repairs.

The NYSC camp is located along Jalingo Wukari road about 15 km from Jalingo and 5 kilometers from the airport. The camp was well built with the coopers accommodation well spaced. It has electricity supply and bore hole , and over head tanks to ease access to water supply through out the 3 weeks period of the orientation training. The NYSC State Coordinator has also put in place all necessary measures to keep the infrastructure in good condition.
