I liked the ambience of the room I stayed in (very minimalistic). The hotel also looks quite clean.

The reception is good, the staff are nice and courteous. The hotel is clean and the location is super. The food is a yes too. Ok. I stayed in room 307, but you may wish to check these in your room. The window unit AC is too noisy. I had to put it off to sleep. The mattress in the bed has spring inside and it was not too comfy for me. The clarity of the TV channels may not be assured at all times. In all, I will recommend the hotel for any visitor to Sokoto as i went round before settling for Grand Ibro.

Grand Ibro is recently renovated Hotel. It has three floors. Very nice ambience, new furniture. They have four types of room. Standard (13,500 Naira), Deluxe (19,500 Naira), Super Deluxe (23,700 Naira) and Executive Suite (28,700 Naira). 24 hours free wifi, laundry service, free parking and 24 hours room service. Restaurant has attractive ambience. Indian food is available and it is really a good taste. Pictures of menu are enclosed here. Fodio Shopping Mall is very close to hotel. Banquet hall and conference hall are available for events.
