One of, if not the best NYSC orientation camp in the federation. A large landmass within a cool region with notable natural features such as big rocks, green vegetation, etc. A really great place where lots of lasting sweet memories are made.

NYSC orientation Camp Mangu, is the permanent site for Nigerian graduates newly deployed to plateau state for the compulsory service to the country. The graduates are expected to stay in the camp for a period of three weeks. The camp has a clinic, market, lecture hall, a field, hostels,a pavilion, and other administrative offices. The camp ground is heavily secured by Army, police and other security agencies in Nigeria. The weather is usually cold especially in the morning and at night so it is advisable to hold a good sweater. It is not quite far from Jos town
