Poor zoo and poor maintainable. I was here some 30yrs ago (1989/90), nothing has changed since then, rather things are worse. I do not recommend here for anyone unless standards improve.

I attended a wedding reception here. It was really nice there with towering trees that provided very pretty coverage. Unfortunately, I had no time to explore and experience the park itself.

We had fu with the children. Not the same as when I was a child though. The facilities are run down but with enough attention it can be a great place for a resort. There are animals like elephant, lions, gorilla, snakes, hyena. I miss the hippo pond back in the days. Maybe a zoo lover or animal lover can revive it.

A once bubbly place that was usually busy with a lot of tourists trooping in and out, and home to a wide range of species, the jos wild life park has sort of lost its spark, they still do have interesting animals on display, but the maintenance of the place has been poor and a lot of work has to be done to get it up and running and return it to its former glory.

Feeding the animals was the highlight of our time. Plenty of shade and nice dirt paths made the visit comfortable. A limited variety of animals such as the lion, monkeys, peacocks, donkeys, and snakes were housed in small cages rather than the natural habitats one usually sees in American zoos. At the same time, one does not usually get to feed the Lions a live goat, hand the monkeys an apple, or feed the elephants carrots and then touch their trunks. It was a different experience and not bad. The cafe and shops were non existent anymore and the grounds were not well maintained.

As the name implies, Jos Wildlife park is home to a variety of wild animals while trying to keep them in an environment similar to their natural habitats. Animals in the park includes, Lions, Ostriches, Gazelle, a Phyton, Hyenas, Alligators, Porcupines, Parrots among others.

The Wildlife Park is somewhere you need to go when next you pay a visit to Jos; from the Elephant, the Spotted Hyena the Lion the Ostrich and some other very interesting and unfamiliar animals. Though it lacks proper maintenance and reliant tourist guidance for a Wildlife Park. The place is overall Awesome.

The Jos wildlife park is a good out door venue. However the park seems to have seen better days. Decay has set in leaving a lot of the infrastructure in very poor state. It looks more like a zoo than a wildlife park. They still have some animals though. Ostrich, porcupin, tortoise, elephant, crocodile, alligator, swan, gazelle, donkey, horse, different species of monkey and probably more. The place ought to be better looked after.
