Peter Benedict GbiangBokkos Market is one of the busiest place among the Local Govt Councils in Plateau State. It shares border area with Barkin Ladi, Mangu, Quaan-Pan LGAs and Samba from Nasarawa State. At the market day which falls every Thursday attracts people from all over the states that come to buy food stuffs such as Maize, Irish potatoes, sweet potatoes, rice, beans, millet, guinea corn, cassava, tomatoes, cabbage, carrots, green pepper, red pepper, cocoa yam, yam and too many other things. There are lorries, buses and taxis to convey goods and commuters in and out. There are adequate securities on ground to monitor and protect lives and properties.

Esther OchiabutoThis market attracts people from various places mainly on Thursdays. Irish potatoes and sweet potatoes are very cheap. There are lots of vegetables like green beans, green pepper, cabbage, green peas, etc and they are relatively cheap too. So many varieties of cereals(millet, guinea corn, maize, etc) and legumes( soya beans, kidney beans...). I love Bokkos market, but I dislike the traffic around the market on thursdays....
