I went on a week day so not very much was happening. There is a swimming pool, mini zoo, horse riding and paintball shooting range. There is a lounge and bar also. A good place for family fun.

Agodi gardens is a recreational centre located in the heart of Ibadan. You can visit with your family, your lover, your friends, your team members and so on. They have lots of activities to keep you entertained. You can also be going there regularly to swim if you like swimming. The place is also good to host your picnic, carnival, birthday parties and even wedding parties.

Many visitors look forward to seeing the animals there, but the the views there is usually an anticlimax. The environment is nicer for an outdoor get together with family and friends

I enjoyed my time there, it is children friendly, there is a clean swimming pool, horse ride, moving train for children to play with, the lawn is green and beautiful. I love the arrangements of the trees, they are tall and beautiful and provide coverage. There is a comfortable walkway friendly for people on wheel chairs. Agodi Gardens brings you close to Nature.

Agodi Gardens is a very beautiful amusement park with a serene and very welcoming green environment. From the entrance, you are instantly carried away by its beauty, the lush green grass and trees. The place has a well maintained swimming pool with a slide. The entrance fee is very affordable (#500) and you also have to pay an extra sum to access the swimming pull area. There is a restaurant and a bar where you can eat, drink and relax after taking a tour around the park. It is a good place to bring your friends and family and have fun.

I was disappointed visiting the place with the N500 that was collected at the gate. Where compared with OOPL in Abeokuta and JJT park in Lagos, Agodi is far from their standards. I believe they can work more on the place so that I will be inspired when next I visit the place.

There is absolutely nothing worthy of writing about the garden. I was expecting to see a hypnotic zoo graced with lions, elephants etc. I only saw one little miserable monkey in a very dirty bushy and unkept area. The frightening and dirty tiny path leading to the so called zoo could even harbour snakes underneath the thorn bushes. There was nothing like boat trip. The garden has deteriorated terribly especially the zoo area.

It is a place that express the beauty of what nature should be, one of the fascinating things about the place are the trees,the lawns,and the natural vegetation. You can also spot the historical premier hotel from within the park. However more can be done in terms of management and side attractions to the park,the park is yet to express it’s full capacity. Clean ups to be done at the mini bridges,and irrigation system needs to be re-evaluated. Since the zoo is not functioning at the moment, focus should be on what the actual park can be. If you’re an enthusiast of clean air and environmental sanity, this is the place for you.

Entrance fee is affordable at N500 but after place is not serene as expected but rather rowdy with no rhyme or rhythm to anything. DJ in one corner blasting music, different activities with no real food available even cold drinks was unavailable. There is the swimming pool which is fine. Horse ride, donkey carriage, bouncy castles and hover board was ok though. Maybe the rowdiness was because its festive season, i will do a review again when it less busy.
