Actually, this market is very very stressful and I can’t stress that enough. It’s clumsy with everyone running into each other. Everyone’s trying to get along, everyone’s impatient. Not the best place to be actually but if you’re in dire need of the product and you can only find it there, I suggest you go early in the morning to avoid the hustle and bustle that comes with the place.

Ogunpa International Market is an all in one market where you can get a wide range of products ranging from household utensil thru Building materials and house maintenance materials and appliances. The market is always very busy Monday to Sunday and you can hardly get a parking space if you decide to drive to the market. Truthfully, prices of products and services are considerably cheap here because of the high volume of competitors dealing in the same kind of products and services. Something that needs to be known about the market there are lots of middlemen who are like to make any product or service you wish to acquire to be slightly above the shelf / normal price. So I will advice anyone partronizing sellers in the market.

Things like generators, electronic gadgets, clothes, fairly used accessories, phones, motor /automobile spare parts. It is however, a very congested and crowded area. in first ogunpa Ibadan Market has carved a niche for being the largest trading centre for traditional medicines in attracting traders from various parts of the region for over 100 years. (Ibadan) For a first time visitor, there is nothing spectacular about ogunpa Market situated in the heart of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital and the largest city south of the Sahara. In deed, it is just another market in Ibadan. Located along the ogunpa road precisely at ogunpa, on a large expanse of land housing over 300,000 stalls and shops is the magnificent, century-old Ibadan International Market.

This is one of the dirtiest markets in Oyo state. 37years ago, it experienced heavy flooding that carted away valuables as well as humans because of the unchannelization of a river called ogunpa. Even though there is now a channel for the river, it still leaves much to be desired
