I visited this place as a detour after a work assignment in Ibadan. Around this time, most people were still at work so it was relatively scantier, more peaceful and easier to navigate. I’m not easily impressed by malls especially when they are not in the main cities in a particular country. But in this case, I was really impressed, most especially by the attention given to the overall aesthetics and maintenance of the place. I didn’t try out the shops but it’s obvious that there are quite a number of options to meet a diverse range of needs. My only wonder was the lack of private cabs as most other malls would have in excess. Another good thing about this place: CLEAN TOILETS! At least it was clean when I was there. I don’t know if it’s always like this but it was impressive to see.

Goods are cheap in this place and they are of good quality. The environment is serene and it usually good for a one-to-one discussions. Workers relate well with customers likewise there are no long queue at the pay point area. The open on all days of the week by 9am and close by10pm. This place is exceptional in that whatever you want to buy is available all the time.

I had yet another great time here yesterday. I however had to walk round Shoprite multiple times from aisle to aisle only to discover that a majority of the items on my shopping list were not available, it was sad for me though as I had expected to get all my supploes at once. Then I also do not understand why Ultima Restaurant and Bar has a live dj. While I know this might be their unique selling point, it was especially rowdy yesterday and my friend and I had to shout at the top of our voices to hear each other. Plus, I think the space should be expanded, if possible, as it seems like the incoming crowd overwhelms the available space and you are always hearing "sorry", "excuse me".
