I
ife ayeniThe food here is really good, Amala and gbegiri is the best but the staff can really test your patience(I try not to engage them,I just buy my food and go). There is ample parking, the place looks like a school cafeteria, they never have cold drinks, they have no POS and the queues can be maddening but the food makes it worth it.
-

Smilestorm B.My favourite meal at Iya-oyo restaurant is the amala with round-abouts and shaki. Tastes great!! Goes best with a bottle of chilled coke. Other meals sold are pounded yam and veggie soup, rice, beans stew n plantain. I gave it a 4-star cos of the long queues which could be really discouraging.

Boma OThis place serves food in a clean, no frills environment. Everyone queues to buy food with the opportunity to select whatever soup or meat please you. The main food here are Amala, Abula (Gbegiri and Ewedu), rice, fried plantain, beans, goat meat, beef, assorted meats and eggs. They are pretty consistent with the taste of their food and it’s not expensive at all. There’s a car park with a visible sign everywhere that cars are parked at owners risk. It’s a nice place to try out local Yoruba cuisine.

O
Ofunmi AdeDAmbience isnt fantastic. Just enough parking space as people go in and out. The food is loved by many. Amala, eba, pounded yam, beans, rice and a variety of stew and soups to choose from - efo, ewedu, gbegiri, ila, egusi. Then theres fish, meat, innards (roundabout, shaki, bokoto, kidney, etc etc). Theres usually some wait, so it will be good to budget between 20-40mins to get served. You cannot pay with a POS, no delivery and you cannot pre-order by phone. You can get regular take away packs or the small buckets for soup/stew.
