The Obafemi Awolowo University International School was established in January 2000 with the objectives of preparing students for higher education and preparing them for useful living within the society.
Obafemi Awolowo University International School, Ile-Ife was established as a result of “dissatisfaction of the members of the staff of the University with the performance of the existing Secondary School on Campus and the incessant, protracted strike action of the Teachers in the State Schools”.
