Haykay wizdomIt is the bedrock of O.A.U militancy and houses agile, smart male fresh students. Osungbade Akeem (Ak-Wizdom) is the Chairman of the hall and governs the hall with four other executives, Ojuko Taiwo Paul (Teepaul), Ojo Oluwatosin (Oluprince), Akerele Isaac (Ak-Isaac), and Oladunjoye Gbenga (Olugee). The hall formerly houses 1,240 students but the Ak-Wizdom led administration demanded reduction and the management reduced it to 880 making life more conducive for the occupants.

Sambo RaysAngola hall is a boys only hostel with exactly 11 blocks (A-K) and each block has 10 rooms. This hall has about 90% of its occupants as freshmen. It has two butteries, one basketball court and an eatery all within its enclosure. It has a female counterpart (Mozambique hall) which is just a stone throw away from Angola hall. It has a very wide space in front of it where many major events take place.

Toochukwu ObasiI was in Angola in my first year as a student in OAU for the 2014/2015 session. Since my stay there however, the only improvement to the place has only been the paint job. The toilets are still the same. However, with the new ATM close to the pg Hall, banking services are now closer than ever. There is a single buttery in Angola which is not helped by the fact that the sales people are rude. There are no provisions for people with disabilities. But if anything, Angola can still be fun due to its occupants. The ever hopeful young Nigerian youth entering into the University for the first time.

Adeleye AdeoluwaAngola Hall, built in 1975, is one of the distanced halls of residence from the academic environment strictly constructed for the male. The hostel has a maximum capacity of 1,320 legal occupants (Students). According to the history of the hostel it was formerly known as an Emergency Hostel 1 and was later given the name ANGOLA HOSTEL. due to its security, the hostel has been dedicated mainly to the 1st year male students. It is one of the most quiet and disciplined hostels on campus with scheduled hours of entrance for the female and for the visitors.

Adesola ShittuIt was in 1997 as a JJC on campus, full of enthusiasm, energy and the need to explore the system. Allocated to Room K1 (Toilet Avenue). Official 9 were allocated, but ended up being 16 in the room. It was full of fun. You learn from each other, argument. Niyi the inference drawer, Wale the Casperof, Obaperoro Okpekurede Jackson, Rabab, Lanre the Artist, Ayo the young man , Osuolale the controversial guy... Snakes come around at night, over consumption of energy, fetching of veg on the field to cook, long queue fo water in the morning, Risky burger at the buttery... wonderful experience I cannot forget...
