Not a very busy airport with about 2 or 3 flights daily. The downside is that the building where you check-in is different from the building where you board from and the distance between both buildings is about 100 metres. For a modern day airport, they certainly can do better

Not a very busy airport with about 2 or 3 flights daily. The location of the airport is nice, the staffs of the airline and staffs of the airport are nice and friendly though I do not know if we can attribute that to the fact that they are not under pressure due to the fact that it is not a very busy airport. The downside here is that the building where you check in is different from the building where you board and it is even some distance apart. For an airport in this 21st century, they certainly can do better

Airport needs a major upgrade! Not standard enough but at least better than some state capitals who do not have one! For your local flights only and only plies Akure to Lagos or Akure to Abuja. Flights not daily as there are specific dates. You can check online. Only Overland Airways and Air Peace available.

Nice, simple and organised local airport. Very convenient for those wanting to travel to Ikere, Ado etc. Akure main roads leading to the airport are good. It would benefit by having at least one decent shop or restaurant for those waiting. There needs to be consistency with what is allowed to in your luggage especially when it is not your hand luggage. Place signs or have information on website.

Air peace does a daily flight of 45 minutes from Lagos to Akure Airport, duration of 45 minutes flight. Overland Airways does daily flights from Abuja to Akure airport for a flight duration of 50 minutes.
