The camp is a very busy and lively place
  • J
    Jasper jaspeenenie
It has been an amazing time and am so happy you know doing this ( serving her country, Nigeria)
  • R
    Richmond Ade
Needs a good football field and other sporting activities.
  • A
    Anita Ejiofor
The parade ground has a beautiful view, showcasing the picturesque hills of Ikare-Akoko known as Oke Obaa. It is a sight for sore eyes. The hostels are okay, at least mine was fair, even though can be crowded, but that is not peculiar to Ondo state camp alone. The least favourable feature of the camp is the bathroom and toilet. I hope an individual, an organisation or the state government can do something about it.
  • A
    Ajayi Odunayo
Not in the best condition to house human beings. The living conditions experienced here is very terrible. Ranging from the kitchen to having a sensible toilet is whack. Wood/charcoal is the primary fuel for cooking. The hostels do not have electrical fittings, the stress of charging phones can be tiring. Just too messed up

  • C

Mostly underdeveloped....mud house, ifen most bricks houses have aged roof....very few enterprises and the buildings are maximum of 2stories...lastly Benin city is a beauty when compared to ondo, ikare Akoko....The camp is much better than i expected...

Ikare is a big town in Ondo State. Ikare town has an undulating topography. Surrounded by hills. The NYSC Camp is strategically located in a not too busy area of the town. It is quite spacious but has old bungalow hostel model. A very neat and well maintained camp site. Mobile network connection is sharp and good for Globacom, followed by Airtel, 9mobile and MTN. The people of Ikare are friendly, hard working and cook good food.
