I will give 5 stars if they pay more attention to taking off on time (at most 5 minutes after take off time) and customer service (some Lagos park luggage handlers can be very rude).

I think, in all honesty, this is a dangerous transportation company. Why? Come with me let me explain. First, the drivers lack training in terms of customer relationships. They are quite rude and are quick to address customers with uttermost disdain. Second, after they’ve done the job they are paid for, they still expect you as the customer to grease their palms. Third, the payment system is shambolic and needs to be fixed immediately. I think attention to details in terms of service, customer relations and more importantly, the tracking of time should become important in the total package of delivery!

I am not impressed with the current service of GIGM, how can they publish 9am as departure time and shift that to 11am without informing customers or apologize for any inconvenience caused. This is sad, an institution like this should not continue the narrative of the so-called "African Time". If flights are delayed and buses are delayed too then what is the hope of getting a prompt service for meeting appointments on time. GIGM should upgrade urgently if they want to continue dominating the interstate land transport business. Two-Star for a poor service!

Terrible experience, Poor service and disorganised members of staff on ground at the Akpakpava terminal.I booked a bus online to Lagos (Volks) for 5th August 2018 , to leave by 1pm and got a confirmation text and email acknowledging my payment. I was still asleep in the early hours of Sunday 5th August 2018,when I got a call from a representative of GIGM informing me that the time had been shifted back to 11am and I should be at the bus terminal latest 10.30am,I had to cut my sleep short and check out of my comfortable hotel room 2 hours earlier than planned.t is sad to note that as at 12pm ,I and other passengers,some waiting since 8.30am according to them were still seated with no communication from the staff on ground.I called the contact centre as nobody here could attend to us and after being on the phone for more than 16 minutes, Awele of the contact centre promised to intervene and told me he would call back.He kept his word and called after 15 mins assuring us by 12.50 pm the bus will a rrive. The bus finally arrives at 1.10 pm , 2 passengers being sold the same number 14 ticket as it was a 13 seater bus that arrived and a passenger manifest which took some more mins to be handed to the driver ensured and we left by 1.39pm.I am posting this as the bus drives out. Time is of essence and the driver sent to arrest the situation could visibly be seen to be overworked and said he just came in from Lagos. Its a no no for me and GIGM going forward.
