Court weddings are held here. Limited parking area which leads to people parking by the road side and causing traffic.
  • E

A place I hope to visit soon. Quite famous in Lagos as one of the most used marriage registry around Falomo area of Ikoyi Lagos.
  • T
    Theresa Nwaogwugwu

The place is highly popular as most celebrities get married here. However it needs to be better kept, and the issue of insufficient parking space needs to be looked into.

    JAMES JOELSON
Centre of extortion. Everyone there wants to collect money from you.
  • ?
    Сэм Дииа
Organised, but crowdy. Small carpark. Every thing here is money money money.
  • A
    Anthony Esang
This is where I did my court marriage; this registry is in the suburb of Ikoyi. It was somewhat cumbersome to locate it due to its location, secondly the car park is not large enough making it difficult to park your car without being blocked. This building also needs some touch up because it’s old. But the workers there were nice and quite helpful.

    Hameed Balogun
Parking is a major issue. Though some upgrades have been done to the location, but still needs more ‘tushing’ up to catch up with modern taste. Its better to arrange a for a Saturday registry as there are far lesser crowd than weekdays. Always arrive very early Be careful with your belongings as there are some lagos boyz around though the civil defense always try to maintain a controller environment

I got married there in 2009, so a lot may have chsnged since then. We took the time to do everything required in advance...was a lot. And, I never could figure out the requirement for donating crackers and beverage to ministary since we did not eat or drink them.

Stressful but it was worth it on the long run, after all it’s my wedding ...
  • B

Car park cannot accomodate more dan 50 cars which is small considering the fact that more than 50marriages are held. Be ready to pay for chairs while waiting..#100 per chair.

The only federal marriage registry in Lagos(if I am not mistaken). Most couples want to get married there. Always jam-packed with people and any couple that gets there late will have themselves to blame.
  • B
    bassey bassey
My major issue with the place is parking space. Hardly enough parking space for intending couples. Again the officials there are extortioners. They make you pay for virtually everything including advise
  • O
    Oluwatobi Erinle
No proper planning, old structures, no provisions for air conditioning, no space for family members to sit while waiting for those who want to get wedded.
  • J
    jolaoso Oluwagbemi
Friendly workers. They are willing to help you with whatever it is that you need. The environment can be improved upon though, being a Federal entity.

No parking... touts lurking around every corner, including the officiating ministers... ensure you have lower currency denomination when you visit.
  • O
    Oluwaseun Ajia
Was here for my colleagues wedding. This registry is rather unkempt and unorganised. Officials are set in their ways. They openly request bribe and aggrandizement. However, it is always a full house here because of the location and the "prestige" of getting married at the Ikoyi registery.
  • A
