I still don’t comprehend why in this day and age, in the 21st century and with all the cashless policies and digital banking available to every business; this particular company still insists on doing strictly cash transactions. You cannot make payments with your MasterCard or Visa card or whatever card you have, let alone eTransfers. Had to take two trips to the ATM which was 6minutes away on foot. Even to pay for photocopies inside the building requires cash. Nope...there is no excuse acceptable for this kind of weird business conduct.

At the VIP section they give complementary drinks and snacks to the people there. Also the service their is much faster and there isn’t much rush in the VIP section. Very organized. All you need to know is on their website. Just google various visa requirements depending on the country you’re travelling to. It’s advisable to go there early as there might be a queue. Ensure you have all your documents. I applied for my SA visa there and it was a seamless process. You can also take passport picture and make photocopies inside the building. All the officials are helpful. I advise you make plans to get your visa atleast 4 weeks before your expected travel date.

Well organised process. Although it is advisable you come in as early as 2am to secure a spot to get into the building. The rush is usually crazy and could be better controlled. Also ensure you print all the documents and get your passport size right from home to avoid paying exorbitant prices at their business centres on site. They also collect cash only on site. Although y You also have to pay for car park fees. Please be aware it should cost about N500. Also do not come in with your bags. You will have to pay to keep it secured. Wish you all the best

They seem well organized for the task they have. Well located too, in the heart of Lekki and the staff usually know their jobs well. I would however want them to check their crowd management system. That digital assistant that queues people and calls the numbers can be quite annoying sometimes. People who come later can often be seen being attended to while others who came earlier would be waiting for their numbers to be called. This is not fair and should be corrected.

I was here to obtain a South African visa for my trip to Cape Town and the service was very horrific. First, I spent the whole day from 8:45am to 4:30 to finish the whole process. Secondly, apart from the fact that the service here is quite expensive when compared with the actual cost of procuring the South African visa, the service was abysmal, very clumsy and nothing to write home about. The actual cost for the South African visa is N7,000 and they charged me over N33,500. From my personal experience, the service does not worth this ridiculous amount charged. I find the officials and staff here very rude, impolite, indiscipline and lack the barest minimum of professionalism. The worst part is that the staff here believe that they are doing me a favour rather than giving me a service. The only reason they behave like this is because things rarely work here. My passport was held for over 2 months with no explanation and no correspondence. They even advised me to withdraw my application and they’d refund less charges. I had no option other than either withdraw my application or miss any other planned trip. In the end, I missed two trips for the period that my passport was held by VFS. There were no apologies, no explanations whatsoever, absolutely no regard for my time as a paying customer.

Without a doubt, VFS Global was setup to handle visa management end-to-end. The layout of the facility immediately tells you that the Management team had envisaged the high foot traffic they will be dealing with on a daily basis. The environment looks and feels neat, attention has been paid to a functional design to manage traffic flow, staff are courteous and if you do have the chance of using the Premium Lounge, it all feels better. This place is always jam packed. Even when you get there pretty early. There’s always a crowd. Don’t plan to breeze in and out. You will be frustrated. There are some guys though (thugs, lol) who offer you ‘their place’ on the queue in exchange for money. They also harass you about so many other things. ‘Do you have your passport? Is it South Africa visa? Do you have your yellow card?’ Etcetera. Just go past them and face what you came to do.
