This camp and its facilities need to be improved on. My 21 days over there was eventful due to the relationships and connections i made but the environment is a total no. From the hostels to the bathroom, the parade ground and the clinic... Everything needs to be worked on. Did i forget fumigation? Or the poor state of the bunks and the mattresses. Everything needs to be worked on.

Not the best/most hospitable/luxurious place to serve in at all. But the people (NYSC Staff) are great and it could be really fun. Prepare to manage some heavy stress, as is typical of the NYSC camping experience.

The camp is okay not that bad depending on d season ur camp fall. Bad during raining season but manageable during summer.

My experience in camp is a memorable one. The camp was quite old with few amenities but the people made sense of my stay. Meeting people from different fares of life opened my mind to greater opportunities. I had fun, connected with people, learnt a whole lot from the SAED lectures given to corps members to help build skills and allow for self sufficiency. NYSC camp is the place to be for introduction to military training and lifestyle...
