Kpakungu roundabout is a major area in Minna. From this roundabout, you can access major areas in Minna and in Niger state. One road links you to Bida, up ahead to Mokwa and out of Niger state to Kwara state, Oyo State, Ondo State, Osun state, Lagos state. You can find a motor pack for these places from here. Another road from this roundabout links you straight to the Judiciary hub of Niger state (here you will find the State High Court complex together with some Magistrate Courts, the Federal High Court and the Customary Court of Appeal). The same road will link you to Engr. A. A Kure market (Kure market for short). The third road from Kpakungu roundabout links straight to City gate roundabout, from where you can access Paiko, Suleja and Abuja to your right, and to your left; New Secretariat Niger state, Niger State House of Assembly, Niger State Youth Center, Tunga area (which houses most banks in Minna). From here you can easily access (1) Mobil roundabout and (2) Obasanjo Complex roundabout where you can find the computer hub of Minna. I cannot say for sure if there is a major shopping complex at Kpakungu roundabout because I am yet to come across one.

Due to the fact that the last two of the previously listed roads are heavily patronized by inter-state travellers, heavy traffic is witnessed at the morning and at the evening times of the day. Transport services available at this location include bike and tricycle aided transport services for local patronage as well as vehicular transport services for intra and inter-state transportation.
