Gidan kwano is part of bosso local government area of Niger State Nigeria, the natives here are predominantly Gbagi by tribe, Gbagi people are good people at the same time very friendly and they play important part in Niger State at large, with the siting of Futminna main campus at the heart of gidan kwano brings more light to the area,Now Gidan kwano develops rapidly with all ramifications of life because different people are coming to settle here from far and near Niger State. in all I think gidan kwano is a nice place to be........

Gidan Kwano, popularly called GK by students of Federal University of Technology, Minna is a village where the University is located. The aborigines of the place are Gwari but it has been polarised by the students immensely. There are so many hostels for student choosing off-campus accommodation to the school hostel.
