Gidan Kwano has extreme weather conditions, poor roads, no wind breakers in other words you can only find few trees around, farming is their major occupation and they produce yam as their major farm produce, very few number of them are educated

The aborigines of the place are Gwari but it has been polarised by the students immensely. There are so many hostels for student choosing off-campus accommodation to the school hostel.
