It was my first time in Abuja and I got lost trying to locate the correct Chelsea hotel which I’d actually booked for. I’m glad I finally found it as it seems there were about 2 or 3 Chelsea hotels in Abuja. I enjoyed their tasty complementary breakfast a lot, their service was fast and there was an elderly lady at the reception who was very nice to me and smiled when I first came to the hotel. The rooms were neat and warm enough. Though the A/C could be better and modernized. When my WiFi stopped working, I only had to call the reception and acquire a new password, which was swift and easy!

I love the Wednesday African Night which featured native dishes. Worthy of note, is the roasted plaintain. I also love their halls. They have 4 halls, 2 Board Rooms and a Pool Terrace. The golden hall costs N500,000 and can sit 200-250 depending on the arrangement. Crystal hall costs N250,000 and can sit 60 people. Xiyan hall: N150,000 with 30 people, Sapphire hall costs N150,000 with N150,000
