The ambience is relaxing, and the food is very nice. It is a cafe so expect cafe style food: sandwiches, English breakfast, pancakes... that sort of thing, but well prepared. Their coffee is lovely and the art and books make you not to want to leave.

Café de vie is all about the space. I only had a glass of fresh pineapple juice while I was there. The customer service was good and the ambience was very relaxing. The only peeve was that some of the cooking is done indoors and chokes up the place. Better ventilation or a good odour extractor should do the trick. Alternatively, there are outdoor sitting options available. All in all, it cozy if you want to work remotely or spend time alone reading or just zoning out.

Cafe de vie is a lovely boutique restaurant with a rustic feel. There is a wide breakfast menu. I had the egg cheese melt sandwich and the beetroot and pineapple juice. I really felt right home as I started a novel from the in-house library before my meal arrived. Would definitely return.

Menu: The menu is quite limited although on Instagram I did see a lot of things however it’s not put inside the menu. Ambience: the place is small but cute. Staff: A staff that was assigned to wash plates was seen eating left over customers food to my shock. I know this because of the position I sat down and they made it clearly obvious. The manager was also friendly however her staff were all very incompetent as we sat down for a long time and they never cared to attend to us she actually helped out. Quality of Food: So we had iced cofee and milk shake overall not worth the price.

Abuja needs more spaces like Cafe de vie. Lovely outdoor area that is probably best for when the sun is down given the temperatures Abuja can get to. The retro interior is probably a family favorite for the usual upward crowd in Abuja. The bathroom needs a little fixing though. A bit too intrusive and awkward as it is right inside the restaurant.
