The scenery is very green and nice. You can choose to eat outdoor or indoor. There is a designated smoking area. The food taste really nice and the waiting time before your meal is brought was short.

An upscale Indian restaurant in the heart of Maitama, Abuja. It’s picturesque and perfect either during the day or night. I especially loved my starter of cheese stuffed Nan Bread. If you don’t mind spending a little more for food and a beautiful scenery. It’s the place to go.

This is quite a large place. Horticulture was perfected here as well. Nice bars, green fields, along with mini meeting spaces. The food here was nice. They have variety of menu on offer. I would recommend this place always.

It is very difficult to find especially at night. The entrance to the park is about 200 Meters before Salween Close on the same side of the road, a white gate with palm trees on it. Once you get through the gate proceed about 500 meters on a dirt road and you will see a beautiful restaurant on your right consisting of about 4 buildings. Lots of outdoor seating as well as indoor air conditioned seating. Great place for Indian food tucked away inside a botanical garden.

Cilantro Abuja is located within a nature haven called the Sarius Palmetum which features different plants and rocks. Cilantro offers the fine Indian cuisine in a beautiful environment. The service here is quite good and the food is even better. I recommend getting their Tandoori Lamb Shoulder with cheesy naan.

Perfect match of a lot of lovely elements: beautiful grounds, comfortable outdoor seating, exquisite indoor dining, a jazz bar, a kebab stand serving tandoori meats, a hookah pipe hut, a long driveway with undulating landscape, and a gorgeous front seat view of well-preserved nature. Beautiful place, good restaurant, fair pricing. I wanted full-on Indian cuisine, so ordered some nan with cheese, served with a saffron-infused lamb sauce; loved it so much I ordered seconds, with buttered nan. My friend had lamb biryani, and some orange-sugarcane juice. We were delighted to have some yoghurt raita delivered to our table courtesy of the house, (alongside the melt-in-your-mouth lamb in sauce I ordered). Was really lovely to sit and enjoy the ambience as the day faded into dusk. Because there are vegetarian and non-vegetarian options for each item on the menu, I’m definitely visiting again, and taking family along. :)

A very nice and beautiful place to eat. It’s also kid friendly. The food is quite affordable and comes in large portions (you can split a meal with someone). The best thing about this place was the service. It was very top notch. You might want to call ahead and make a reservation though. We came on a Friday night and there was hardly a free table...we had to wait for a little while before we got a table. They also don’t have an extensive cocktail menu.

i love the views this place offers. very relaxing. inside is aesthetically pleasing as well, i’m a fan of good art and this place has it. the food is good, well spiced as i am a lover of asian cuisine. i would highly recommend the butter chicken with naan. the prices vary to be fair, start up prices are 2k and above so bear that in mind.

Lovely lovely lovely space. It is located in the Nigerian conservation foundation area and so greenery is spectacular. Landscape is lovely tp behold. The resturant is a distance if you dont have a car, but def worth it. Service is good. Nice selection of indian cuisine and some chinese as well. Its good for events, private birthday parties or celebrations. It can take the crowd. Decor is beautiful. Food was nice as well

Abuja is a classy city, with pockets of quiet understated sophistication. The Cilantro restaurant is tucked away in such a pocket. Friday nights are busy. But never rowdy. The menu is impressive. The food even more so. The service is typically Nigerian. Friendly, efficient. attentive, helpful, welcoming. The wine list is adequate. The ambiance says please come back next Friday. Highly recommended.

Cilantro is located right inside Sarius Palmetum. I love the landscaping and the thought that was put behind getting the place together. It’s a great place to relax and unwind after a long day at the office or host a group of friends to an awesome celebrations. It’s a very large space and can accommodate many different groups while all enjoying the privacy of their party. There’s good parking and artsy “keke napep” services to take you down if you’re parked far off. Some parts of the space are wheel chair accessible but not all. The food is great. It’s Indian cuisine and my favourite meal was their nan bread. They make good Chapman drinks too.

The ambience of this place is awesome. Its a mixture of indoor and outdoor spots for you to eat a range of Indian and Chinese meals. The food menu is quite varied and has a good range for vegetarians and even more for meat eaters like me. On entry you will be taken aback by the rather long downhill drive and then you will be pleasantly surprised when you discover this hidden treasure in Abuja. Cilantro attracts a cosmopolitan crowd and is a bit pricey but the serene environment makes up for this. It can get pretty full in the evening and finding a place to park can be a challenge. The owners have taken care of this by providing a trycycle (also known as a Keke or Tuc Tuc) to ferry clients to and from their vehicles. I shall edit this review soon and add some. pictures.

This is a favourite with locals and expats alike- and no wonder! Great atmosphere in a beautiful garden setting and glorious food. I had the paneer makhini and garlic naan- one of the best naans I’ve had outside of India. Colleagues had tandoori chicken and biryani which they were full of compliments for. Authentic masala chai to finish off the meal and we were some very happy campers. Service was pleasant and attentive.
