It was a book launch event here and one of the many halls in the International Conference Center, the Executive Hall, was used. It was a very lovely setting. Like with all the halls in the Center, decorations and lighting get to be very beautiful if done by capable hands. The ambience in the hall was very friendly. The lighting was good. The sound system worked well.

The parking space within the Centre is not commodious enough for the number of people the hall can accommodate but there is an alternative parking space in the plot that abuts the Centre. The hall us well furnished with illumination.

This is one of the largest conference venues in the the Nigerian capital city. Our delegates were about 1500 and we were confortably seated. They have a good air conditioning system, clean toilets and a good security system. Lunch and other refreshments locations are adequate. But they seem to allow retailers of general goods to turn the place in a small market, although some visitors may actually like this as it saves them having to go to the market in order to buy gifts for family members when going back home.

For all conferences both government and nongovernmental. The Abuja International Conference Center is a place where both Government and Non Governmental Organizations Seek to hold their conferences, trainings, and different engagements. Regulated by the government of the Federal Capital Territory, the place is open to those who book and/or reserve the place for their events. A certain amount is paid to secure the place but that is not the criteria for the place to be released for their event. The integrity of the organization or group of people organising such events is also checked to be sure that such events are in line with the idea of the place. Government functions like events by the Presidency are held there. An example is the Constitution Review Committee meetings that was hosted by the Executive during the Obasanjo administration. Non governmental organisations like the United Nations also hold their conferences at the Abuja International Conference Center where countries of Africa, Asia, Europe, US, etc are represented. Summits are also held here. Like the African Union Summits depending on the number of people expected and the scope generally .

The International Conference Centre is such a nice place for events of national interest or a bit of international. It can accommodate quite a number of people in the auditorium including the gallery. I like the view from the gallery anyway. I imagine a national praise concert here, Lol. The standard set for the Centre is international, however, level of maintenance is making the structure lose its international appeal. Well, quite a number of international events still hold here, like the National TB conference with global representations. The drop off point is well structured but may require the attention of a personnel to control the free flow of vehicle but get-in, get-out access is commendable. The parking space is not large enough for the capacity of the auditorium suppose every attendee drives in. Food is sold within at a average price.

The building is also wheelchair accessible. The sound system is very good especially for a structure of this size. Only down side will be the parking lot. The parking lot is not big enough to accommodate the number cars carrying the number of people the hall can take.
