First experience at this Hilton Abuja was a disaster! After paying N111,550 to reserve a room for a top executive, he gets there the first time in the morning after arriving from the airport and they say the room haven’t paid for. I called Hilton and sent proof of payment to them and they confirmed it and still their incompetent staff lazed didn’t capture the payment. My Client got to the hotel in the evening after long hours of meetings still with his luggage, stranded and they tell him his room hasn’t been paid for again!!! And collected over 90k from him to pay for another room. I’ve never seen any so to speak 4 star hotel this unprofessional! Even a 1 star hotel would do better! Very disappointed!

Transcorp Hilton Abuja is one of the best hotels in Nigeria. The service is top notch, the rooms are luxurious and properly maintained with courteous staff and services. The meals are very good and the ambience properly maintained. There are several restaurants and clubs within the hotel. There are some few downsides though. You cannot control the temperature of the air conditioning in your room as it is password protected. You have to call room service everytime you need to change the settings or temperature. The halls for events need renovations and the sound is terrible. The sounds kept failing and the microphone kept going off during the event, it was really embarrassing. Lastly, the hotel operates a park and pay system, that is really strange for an hotel.

It is approachable from several points within the Federal capital territory of Nigeria; approachable from Maitama, wuse( all the zones), Central Business District (CBD),Aso Villa, National Assembly Complex route, Federal Secretariat, Asokoro District etc. Presently, there is a security control at the entrance and exit points that documents vehicular entrance and exit. Meanwhile, this is self service and also automated. The function is as follows; a driver approaches the entrance and is blocked by a security bar. From a specific distance he can press a button to his left. The device grants him access through the entrance by raising the bar while simultaneously generating a pass(entrance ticket) for him. The pass captures information such as the time of entrance, date and a unique ID for him. At the end of his business in the hotel he approaches the exit point in a similar manner as above. From a specific distance he inserts the same pass he collected during entry to the device on his left side. After paying N111,550 to reserve a room for a top executive, he gets there the first time in the morning after arriving from the airport and they say the room haven’t paid for. I called Hilton and sent proof of payment to them and they confirmed it and still their incompetent staff lazed didn’t capture the payment. My Client got to the hotel in the evening after long hours of meetings still with his luggage, stranded and they tell him his room hasn’t been paid for again!!! And collected over 90k from him to pay for another room. I’ve never seen any so to speak 4 star hotel this unprofessional! Even a 1 star hotel would do better! Very disappointed!

This is the default hotel for when you are in Abuja. This is where everyone stays! A lot of the events happen here too. The rooms are well-serviced, the staff members are friendly and helpful. We even got complimentary groundnuts in the room the last time I stayed here. Also, the Bukka Restaurant on the ground floor is the truth. They have ‘all you can eat buffet’ for breakfast, lunch and I think dinner. I have never really had dinner at the restaurant. I’m pleased to share the plate of pepper soup I had at the restaurant the last time, lol.

I used this hotel often because I travelled in for work and during one experience, I think they overbooked, Their service team was good enough to upgrade me to the presidential suite or so? what an experience i can never forget. I had a whole house at Hilton Abuja to myself? Little me? Mind you I am an everyday working class millennial so this was a big deal! I enjoyed my night trying not to be swallowed by all the space in the room, double bathrooms, toilet, lounge etc. I cannot remember their food leaving me breathless, but the rooms and service sure did!

Stayed in the executive room so had access to the executive lounge, which unfortunately, was under renovation. Used the ground floor lobby lounge. Nice swimming pool area, games section, shops etc Negative, females are asked to wear long dresses in order not to offend other lounge users. Users should have been told before hand of the dress code to save the embarrassment at the entry door. The lounge did not have a wide variety of drinks, sparsely stocked bar shelves. Overall, great clean, comfortable, great courteous staff and would highly recommend.

I like that over the years, the hotel has maintained its standards and even made improvements. The staff are polite and helpful. I see too that car parking is better organised than before. It used to be total chaos. It will help to have more ATMs around the hotel.

After paying N111,550 to reserve a room for a top executive, he gets there the first time in the morning after arriving from the airport and they say the room haven’t paid for. I called Hilton and sent proof of payment to them and they confirmed it and still their incompetent staff lazed didn’t capture the payment. My Client got to the hotel in the evening after long hours of meetings still with his luggage, stranded and they tell him his room hasn’t been paid for again!!! And collected over 90k from him to pay for another room. I’ve never seen any so to speak 4 star hotel this unprofessional! Even a 1 star hotel would do better! Very disappointed!

Transcorp Hilton Abuja is one of the best hotels in Nigeria. The service is top notch, the rooms are luxurious and properly maintained with courteous staff and services. The meals are very good and the ambience properly maintained. There are several restaurants and clubs within the hotel. There are some few downsides though. You cannot control the temperature of the air conditioning in your room as it is password protected. You have to call room service everytime you need to change the settings or temperature. The halls for events need renovations and the sound is terrible. The sounds kept failing and the microphone kept going off during the event, it was really embarrassing. Lastly, the hotel operates a park and pay system, that is really strange for an hotel.

It is approachable from several points within the Federal capital territory of Nigeria; approachable from Maitama, wuse( all the zones), Central Business District (CBD),Aso Villa, National Assembly Complex route, Federal Secretariat, Asokoro District etc. Presently, there is a security control at the entrance and exit points that documents vehicular entrance and exit. Meanwhile, this is self service and also automated. The function is as follows; a driver approaches the entrance and is blocked by a security bar. From a specific distance he can press a button to his left. The device grants him access through the entrance by raising the bar while simultaneously generating a pass(entrance ticket) for him. The pass captures information such as the time of entrance, date and a unique ID for him. At the end of his business in the hotel he approaches the exit point in a similar manner as above. From a specific distance he inserts the same pass he collected during entry to the device on his left side. This device is able to recognise his pass, ID etc and access to the outside by lifting the restriction bar in front while retrieving the pass from him. A wonder full experience for a first timer.......

I used this hotel often because I travelled in for work and during one experience, I think they overbooked, Their service team was good enough to upgrade me to the presidential suite or so? what an experience i can never forget. I had a whole house at Hilton Abuja to myself? Little me? Mind you I am an everyday working class millennial so this was a big deal! I enjoyed my night trying not to be swallowed by all the space in the room, double bathrooms, toilet, lounge etc. I cannot remember their food leaving me breathless, but the rooms and service sure did!

Stayed in the executive room so had access to the executive lounge, which unfortunately, was under renovation. Used the ground floor lobby lounge. Nice swimming pool area, games section, shops etc Negative, females are asked to wear long dresses in order not to offend other lounge users. Users should have been told before hand of the dress code to save the embarrassment at the entry door. The lounge did not have a wide variety of drinks, sparsely stocked bar shelves. Overall, great clean, comfortable, great courteous staff and would highly recommend.

Be honest, i’ve travel been Abuja several years and Transcorp Hilton is the best hotel but only one reception operator named Mr. Galadima was so rude and unfriendly so impressed. I really don’t know what happened to him whom performances without courtouse since we booked President Suite here. So sad to him and disappointed to hire such kind of people be the reception as the face of Hilton. Hopefully management pay attention and give a feedback that appreciated.

A 5 star hotel and one of the best Hotels in the FCT and the country as a whole... Beautiful scenery, very large car park, tight security and lots more. The rooms are well furnished and properly air conditioned... There are elevators at various parts of the building and great halls for meetings and other activities. The hotel has very great menu in its restaurants and great selection of beer, wine, rum, whisky, vodka etc from the bar. The pools are great and fun to be with... Organised staff who are well trained and very coordinated to make your stay worthwhile. There is a Casino which really makes the place fun at all times.

However the new Park and pay movement is really tiring and has made me reduce my visitations although if you spend more than 3k which you definitely would if you visit any of the restaurants or go swimming then you don’t have to pay for parking.

Great choice of restaurants, bars and a hidden handcraft market. Front desk staff are super pleasant and very helpful.. I was located on the 4th floor with a pool view.

Every vehicle is given a gate pass before they can be granted entrance into the building. There is a large parking slot for cars. First experience at this Hilton Abuja was a disaster! After paying N111,550 to reserve a room for a top executive, he gets there the first time in the morning after arriving from the airport and they say the room haven’t paid for. I called Hilton and sent proof of payment to them and they confirmed it and still their incompetent staff lazed didn’t capture the payment. My Client got to the hotel in the evening after long hours of meetings still with his luggage, stranded and they tell him his room hasn’t been paid for again!!! And collected over 90k from him to pay for another room. I’ve never seen any so to speak 4 star hotel this unprofessional! Even a 1 star hotel would do better! Very disappointed!

Transcorp Hilton Abuja is one of the best hotels in Nigeria. The service is top notch, the rooms are luxurious and properly maintained with courteous staff and services. The meals are very good and the ambience properly maintained. There are several restaurants and clubs within the hotel. There are some few downsides though. You cannot control the temperature of the air conditioning in your room as it is password protected. You have to call room service everytime you need to change the settings or temperature. The halls for events need renovations and the sound is terrible. The sounds kept failing and the microphone kept going off during the event, it was really embarrassing. Lastly, the hotel operates a park and pay system, that is really strange for an hotel.

Transcorp is a good spot for a nice music with jazz at the reception lounge, or a place to deep your ties in or take a dive in in the pool. If you care for some food or drinks while in the swimming mood, the poolside bar has you covered. They have atm machines at various points, to ensure you have cash to do whatever. For meetings, occasions, or leisure hangout, I fully recommend it.
