The market is located in the Maitama district, they offer a good variety of fruits and vegetables. I was particularly interested in getting some of the 8 different species of mangoes said to grow in Nigeria I found 7 of them. Some of the stall owners are knowledgeable about where their products originate from my interactions yesterday they mostly come from Benue and Jos. These products are purchased from Zuba Fruit market. Place kept clean and is quite organized for an open market.

The farmers market is not really big but it is loaded with so many fruits from different sellers. As the name implies "Maitama farmers market", we all know Maitama is one of the biggest places in Abuja filled with rich and classy citizens, the cost of fruits in the market is very high. They are too costly. Imagine buying a bell of green pepper for #300. But to be honest, you can get any kind of fruit you want there. The sellers are nice too.
