Should have been ranked among the first 5 hotels in Abuja but has not had good maintenance and upgrade over the years. Seems to be currently under renovation. This Hotel does not live up to the Sheraton name. Would like to know how they manage to keep the name. Please have a look at my pictures and judge for yourself if you think it is worth your money. Positives: My bedding was clean. Loved the pizza from the Italian restaurant. Apart from that, this is NOT a Sheraton. Negatives: Training at front desk, and I can understand it taking a bit longer than usual. Shoddy maintenance is noticeable everywhere. Repairs have been done with no care. Even the picture frames in my room was not at the same level. Simple things like cleaning the place would also help! Have a look at the inside of the lifts! How do people rate this place 4 out of five stars? The whole place feel neglected and dirty. Security guards slouching in their chairs. Is this really a Sheraton?

Went to see the New Year in and although there was music (DJ not a band), it was boring. The menu was the usual menu and when we asked about dessert, only to be told that the kitchen was closed!! It was 11.00pm!

It is a very exquisite place. It is quiant, classic, historic, and has almost everything you might need. It has a spa, bar, restaurant, swimming pull, steam bath. The night view is awesome... If you need car drop, it is easy to get around here. It is quite a lovely place. Though it is more for the executive class. It has high rise building, and a Congress and meeting hall. It also has several board rooms. Most foreigners in Abuja come here to stay.

Swimming pool and fitness centre look great. The backdrop of the main hotel ( zoom in) is post apocalyptic with windows and doors removed and vacant rooms. Conference centre N550k for a few hours with N100k decorations that barely make up for the torn and stained seating. AC not working well enough for a crowd of 300. Much room for improvement.

Sheraton is such a lovely place to chill. When looking for a nice place to stay during visiting or conference, I recommend Sheraton. The environment is so neat and well decorated with arts for sight seeing. The place has a really good security. The car park is really big to contain so many cars and not too far from the hotel, meaning you don’t have to walk much. They have a conference centre for events. The pool side is so clean. They have really nice lobby area. I so much like Sheraton and I recommend any day anytime.

One of the most convenient things about this hotel is that it is centrally located, this makes access and movement easy for visitors. Another convenience and great thing about this hotel is it access to forex exchanger, they are just a walking distance away.

Oh..how are the mighty fallen. On the surface things look alright at this former leading hotel in Abuja..but after noticing the endless renovations that are always going on, the paint quality on the corridors and pool side, the shrubs around the tennis and basketball court ...I realise the reason for 40% of the rooms being surplus to requirement
