Decent and simple place to be. There can be significant traffic there though but they are always being controlled by the traffic control personnel. The round about links to different part of Surulere and it allows for easy navigation. Traffic occurs mainly during peak periods but gets controlled.

It’s very Close to the National Stadium and also the Teslim Balogun Stadium, there are lots of clubs and lounges in the area. Varieties of shops selling different products for consumer’s use. Very lively at night though, the lights and views enticing. It’s also home to private residential apartment owned by the Government. It’s also home to Havana hospital (a private hospital), Nepa Office and Tax office together with post office. There are restaurants but there’s a particular canteen where Special foods are sold (peppered rice and assorted meat etc) different people from different places have attended even foreigners. Akerele, Shitta is a very nice place to be, you should come and experience such environment yourself and it promises to be fun.
