Lovely Experience. The Ofada rice was simply the best. They have other local dishes too. During my visit, I was indoor and everything was calm and peaceful. Here is a tip, to get the waiters attention, just ring the small bell on your table and for bills, they accept transfers and POS. Palmwine is affordable, a litre should be ₦1,200 (₦200 for the container itself). You can choose from any of the dishes, drinks and appetizers. You will love your experience, also take pictures.

The vibe here is just beautiful! I absolutely enjoyed being here. I had ofada rice with the sauce and plantain plus the prawns. It was de-li-cious!! The taste is heavenly. I particularly loved that the staff were dressed in traditional attire. That complimented everything. I have to say that their interior decorator did a great job there. Everything in there speaks african. Then they have a really nice space outside where you can sit if you don’t want to be inside. I guess that’s great for evenings because the afternoon sun won’t let you sit there for long. I loved it and would definitely be visiting again.

Welcomed by the attendants in local Yoruba attire. A nice designed walkway (floor and sides) with comfy seats. Easily see the atmosphere. Direct access to inner circles filled with seating arrangement for doubles and groups. Expensive pricing though affordable meals and drinks. The major meal is ofada and the main drink is tasty palm wine. Grubs, drinking garri and other swallow alongside different stew to compliment. Reservation is allowed and pre order to fast forward the meal preparation. Stands to take pictures as local music plays in the background.

The only good things about this place are the ambience and the manager. Any other thing desires improvement. Firstly, we were ignored when we came for our order. Next he came with the wrong orders (accepted it) then the bill took forever to come. When it finally did, I was charged despite the transaction being declined by the issuer. The food! Very hot spicy scrap. Like the tastelessness is being hidden with pepper. Please. Run for your life.

The pepper soup was also really good, not too peppery but the fish was smaller than I expected. I liked the fact that there was light music playing at the background.

After hearing so much about Ofadaboy, we decided to try it out. We found parking a few houses away. I was impressed when we got in. There is outside and inside seating. We sat out for a while until there was space inside. The ambiance is pretty cool, giving it that local vibe. I was very disappointed when the food came. The portion is SMALL!! For N1400, I felt unsatisfied. We complained to the manager who said we can just order an extra portion of rice. Anyways, unfortunately we wouldn’t be coming back soon.

Ofadaboy easily has the best ofada I’ve ever had. The experience is authentically and undeniably african. A bit difficult to locate but once you’re in, you’ll enjoy the aesthetics and the vibes. Something could and be done about the mosquitoes but overall, you can have a great filling meal for two people at 5,000 naira. Just talking about it makes me want to go back. Their swallow with seafood okrois also quite a large helping. Takes a long time but its worth the wait

I went all the way to surulere, suffered through me traffic, both going and coming but every bite was worth it. The scenery, the decor and the setting, all very beautiful. The food, ohh the food. Pure joy on a plate. Everything was well cooked, first time I m actually enjoying proper Ofada rice and it took no time at all to arrive. I would totally recommend.

This is the coziest place ever, from the entrance it is inviting, there is a beautiful spectacle of luxe wooden chairs and tables. With a deep touch of green grass and flowers on the wall that keeps you calm and gives you the feeling of being in a blissful spot. The exterior decor is everything with the local but yet metropolitan touch of artistry. You would see woven nest and trust me it is so cute. The bar is extraordinarily decorated as it takes you back to the old days. I must commend the owner as this place is an inspiration to anyone. The palm wine is so fresh so is their wide array of delicious African meals. Savory I must say. Your taste bud would be screaming DELICIOUS. I really love this place it is so chilled.

The location is not so conspicuous because Ofadaboy doesn’t have a signpost but if you’re lucky, you’d see one of their delivery bikes outside to identify the place. I had dinner (sweet potato chips, smoked turkey with some peppery sauce) with a friend and the food was very affordable (N1500). The food is freshly made so the wait time varies. Also note that weekends are peak period here so there might be more people and longer wait times. The space is comfortable and has both indoor and outdoor sitting areas ( there are a few high chairs for tall people). They also have a prop towards the entrance where people can take pictures which I think is fun.

I had to ask people where the place is located exactly, because there was no signage outside. It had the feel of local; window blinds made from bamboo sticks, chairs and tables were built in the local way as well. I came across OfadaBoy on Twitter or so. So yesterday when I wasn’t in the mood for the same bland food from my office cafeteria, I decided to give them a try. I called and ordered the classic meal or so. It came with a plate of Ofada rice, plantain, Ofada sauce and one egg. It cost me N1,500. The Ofada was in a plastic pack but with a leaf underneath, beneath the rice. I really liked this extra detail because the leaf adds a special flavor which makes the Ofada experience complete. The delivery was not so quick though. It came like 2 hours after I placed the order. It was okay because I called them way before I was actually hungry, lol. The delivery guy’s POS machine wasn’t working. So I just did a transfer to their account and paid partly in cash with some loose change. Also, delivery from their restaurant in Surulere to my office in Marina was N800. All in all, i loved the food and wish I bought more to eat later. I also like the pictures of the restaurant so I plan to visit sometime!
