Elegushi Beach is a great place to go unwind. I had a great time laying on a mat placed on the white sand feeling the cool breeze coming from the sea waves, watching kids and lovers play around. There are other side attractions too, like the horse rides, Merry-go-round, jingle-over etc.. If you want somewhere calm DO NOT GO there during festivities, as it can get rowdy because of different events, Birthday parties and so on. Overall, it’s fun.

Located in Lekki, Lagos Elegushi is a private beach. It is a good place for friends and family hangout. To access the beach you will be required to pay a toll and payments is also required for parking space at the entrance. There are many bars located within mostly with DJs blasting music. It is worthy to know that google map is probably going to take you to a wrong route twice. There is now a second entrance and these entrances are changed, prob due to urbanization often. Endeavour to ask people for direction. Still full of life as usual. Lots of foods and drinks at your disposal.

Elegushi beach is a great place to chill out with friends and family beside the sea. The downsides of it is that it is usually littered and things sold within are quite expensive but thankfully you can bring your own refreshments and food in. The activities of the beach are usually left to young boys who act like thugs and want to exploit you at every turning, so you have to be very smart or else you will be exploited big time and your items may get stolen.

This place isn’t being managed properly, driving through the road is extreme sports you would think a place of to cool off would be easy to get to. Don’t even get me started with the touts around the place they are one step away from ripping you off. The surrounds are dirty most times and the drugs and hard substances they sell there makes the place one area you wouldn’t want your under aged kid visiting. They sell to anyone who’s got the money. The parking spaces too are tricky if you park your car on sand you would need a tow van to get it out even when you pay for parking at the beach. I like beaches but this place isn’t just it for me.

Now last time out i had fun I will suggest you stay off the beach too close to shore. Look for a bar and stay on the top floor, the breeze is so cool and you might just fall asleep. Drink and food is rather on the high side as expected, so bring in your food and drink and have fun.

It was okay. The waves were great. The private beach resort requires an entry fee of 1000 Naira per person. There are many horses for horse rides; Ferris wheels & their operators; bars with DJs; restaurants: vendors selling beads, necklaces and toys for kids. Although, there were too many activities clustered in same spot. Negotiate prices well before getting services/things from vendors. Sonetimes they double their prices, you have to bargain well. The beach was very dirty. They need to have Trash Bins Everywhere in all beaches. What are they doing with the money they collect? I wonder.

Although there are some folks at the entrance always collecting gate fee from visitors, then you move in only to pay for parking space as well which I don’t think the beach owners have any share in these charges. Then you still have to pay for chairs = 1000, Table = 1000! You practically have to pay for everything. But all in all good spot for family get together

Unlike the name implies, it’s nothing like a private beach . It’s a public beach full of touts and aggressive people . You have to pay 1000 naira as entry fee and 500 naira for car park . If you ever decide to go , my only advice is please stay SAFE!

Rowdy as always. Took wayyyyy too long to be granted entrance. Ended up parking at the gate at there was no parking space inside the beach area. Had to walk for over 10mins with my drinks and food...... It was difficult getting somewhere to sit and every where was fully packed and the places that had space was way too expensive. Totally ridiculous Was not the best experience.

You can get a pseudo club like experience at this Beach However, for team bonding activities, you could use the services of Empires sport at the beach. My team used there services and we had lot of fun.

It’s a nice beach to go chill with your family in the day and your friends at night. There’s a gate charge of 1000 Naira and discounts are considered when you’re more than 4. It’s advisable to carry along with you your drinks and food, then rent a table there. An advice on horse riding- they charge 1k for to and fro horse ride, so I suggest you take it as far as you can before returning because they will try to scam you by counting any distance you take forward before turning back as to no matter how little you went.

Free miser tip: to thoroughly enjoy yourself here, especially if you have a family or large crowd, minimise the amount of money you have to spend here by 1. Bring your own food (home cooked or from your favourite restaurant, its bound to be cheaper or at least better than anything yould get on the beach without breaking your pocket) 3. It is an okay place to hangout with friends and see the beach. There are bars and mini-bars where one could stay in and have a few drinks, you can always BYOB if you wish. However, there is usually an outrageous crowd at the beach, especially during the weekends. There is a gate fee to access the beach and the attendants at the gate are not customer-friendly. Also, the beach itself has some thugs roaming about so you have to be security conscious as they are on the prowl to take advantage of people.

The Elegushi is a private beach owned by the Elegushi Royal Family. The entrance fee is #1000 naira (in Nigeria currency). You could get involved in a lot of fun activities, games, horse riding and lots more. Food and drinks are sold at the beach houses the only draw back is that they are quite expensive. Things are sold for as much as 3 times the actual price. In all it was a fun place with lots of music and dancing. I will definitely visit again.

It has several huts where group can sit if they are ready to patronise what they sell. However, things are sold at premium price, so you may want to come with everything you may need. The beach experiences large crowd of people on weekends and holidays.

It was not a bad trip but my disappointment were on the following experiences: 1. There was no buckle for one my child to secure her seat belt on one of the slots on the back seat. My daughter this travelled on that trip without a her seat belt secured. 2. The Air conditioning system of the car was faulty. It was tripping intermittently in the course of the trip there by making the car internal to be hot at some point.

I can tell you this is actually a nice private beach, the environment is clean and various amenities to enjoy, the weather is cool, and a gate fee of 1,000naira for each person and you pay for parking space if you are with a vehicle, the security is also good, although no one is allowed to swim in the beach water. The downsides of it is that it is usually littered and things sold within are quite expensive but thankfully you can bring your own refreshments and food in. This place isn’t being managed properly, driving through the road is extreme sports you would think a place of to cool off would be easy to get to. Don’t even get me started with the touts around the place they are one step away from ripping you off. The surrounds are dirty most times and the drugs and hard substances they sell there makes the place one area you wouldn’t want your under aged kid visiting. They sell to anyone who’s got the money. The parking spaces too are tricky if you park your car on sand you would need a tow van to get it out even when you pay for parking at the beach. I like beaches but this place isn’t just it for me.

The beach was very dirty. They need to have Trash Bins Everywhere in all beaches. What are they doing with the money they collect? I wonder.

Rowdy as always. Took wayyyyy too long to be granted entrance. Ended up parking at the gate at there was no parking space inside the beach area. If you were looking for an actual serene beach where you can go picnicking, Elegushi Private Beach is NOT the place for you. The beach is lined up with bars whose product prices are generally extortionate. You would get a good view of the ocean and receive good doses of the ocean breeze too. You can get a pseudo club like experience at this Beach However, for team bonding activities, you could use the services of Empires sport at the beach. My team used there services and we had lot of fun.

It’s a nice beach to go chill with your family in the day and your friends at night. There’s a gate charge of 1000 Naira and discounts are considered when you’re more than 4. It’s advisable to carry along with you your drinks and food, then rent a table there. An advice on horse riding- they charge 1k for to and fro horse ride, so I suggest you take it as far as you can before returning because they will try to scam you by counting any distance you take forward before turning back as to no matter how little you went.

There are lots of fun you van enjoy in this beach. Entrance fee is #1000 naira Horse ride is 1000 subjected to your negotiating power. Seat and shield are also rented out base on you negotiating power. Some offer you free seat if you are willing to patronize their wares or food from their outlets. The beach is not that too neat. There are rooms for improvement

It is an okay place to hangout with friends and see the beach. There are bars and mini-bars where one could stay in and have a few drinks, you can always BYOB if you wish. However, there is usually an outrageous crowd at the beach, especially during the weekends. There is a gate fee to access the beach and the attendants at the gate are not customer-friendly. Also, the beach itself has some thugs roaming about so you have to be security conscious as they are on the prowl to take advantage of people.

The Elegushi is a private beach owned by the Elegushi Royal Family. The entrance fee is #1000 naira (in Nigeria currency). You could get involved in a lot of fun activities, games, horse riding and lots more. Food and drinks are sold at the beach houses the only draw back is that they are quite expensive. Things are sold for as much as 3 times the actual price. In all it was a fun place with lots of music and dancing. I will definitely visit again.

Elegushi beach is a great place to chill out with friends and family beside the sea. The downsides of it is that it is usually littered and things sold within are quite expensive but thankfully you can bring your own refreshments and food in. The activities of the beach are usually left to young boys who act like thugs and want to exploit you at every turning, so you have to be very smart or else you will be exploited big time and your items may get stolen.

This place isn’t being managed properly, driving through the road is extreme sports you would think a place of to cool off would be easy to get to. Don’t even get me started with the touts around the place they are one step away from ripping you off. The surrounds are dirty most times and the drugs and hard substances they sell there makes the place one area you wouldn’t want your under aged kid visiting. They sell to anyone who’s got the money. The parking spaces too are tricky if you park your car on sand you would need a tow van to get it out even when you pay for parking at the beach. I like beaches but this place isn’t just it for me.

It was okay. The waves were great. The private beach resort requires an entry fee of 1000 Naira per person. There are many horses for horse rides; Ferris wheels & their operators; bars with DJs; restaurants: vendors selling beads, necklaces and toys for kids. Although, there were too many activities clustered in same spot. Negotiate prices well before getting services/things from vendors. Sonetimes they double their prices, you have to bargain well. The beach was very dirty. They need to have Trash Bins Everywhere in all beaches. What are they doing with the money they collect? I wonder.

It’s a nice beach to go chill with your family in the day and your friends at night. There’s a gate charge of 1000 Naira and discounts are considered when you’re more than 4. It’s advisable to carry along with you your drinks and food, then rent a table there. An advice on horse riding- they charge 1k for to and fro horse ride, so I suggest you take it as far as you can before returning because they will try to scam you by counting any distance you take forward before turning back as to no matter how little you went.

There are lots of fun you van enjoy in this beach. Entrance fee is #1000 naira Horse ride is 1000 subjected to your negotiating power. Seat and shield are also rented out base on you negotiating power. Some offer you free seat if you are willing to patronize their wares or food from their outlets. The beach is not that too neat. There are rooms for improvement

With a new management in place, this will be a perfect lovely private beach.

Fun place to be with the family if you love the out doors and water. This beach does get exceptionally crowded during holidays and weekends. Free miser tip: to thoroughly enjoy yourself here, especially if you have a family or large crowd, minimise the amount of money you have to spend here by 1. Bring your own drinks (water, soft drinks, alcohol etc) 2. Bring your own food (home cooked or from your favourite restaurant, its bound to be cheaper or at least better than anything yould get on the beach without breaking your pocket) 3. Bring your mat and possibly an umbrella, table spaces are ridiculously expensive. 4. Offer to pay for entrance at the gate per group rather than per individual.

The Elegushi is a private beach owned by the Elegushi Royal Family. The entrance fee is #1000 naira (in Nigeria currency). You could get involved in a lot of fun activities, games, horse riding and lots more. Food and drinks are sold at the beach houses the only draw back is that they are quite expensive. Things are sold for as much as 3 times the actual price. In all it was a fun place with lots of music and dancing. I will definitely visit again.

It is one of the best beach to chill. While entering you have to pay 1000Naira as entrance fee. There are many sea view restaurants, lounges, bar etc. There will be boys on the way to take you inside the restaurants. Be careful choosing the restaurant. The price of food and liquor is comparitively higher. If you can carry your eating and drinking stuffs it would be better. During weekends it is crowded. You can have horse rides here. Most of the visitors are Nigerian and it seems quite safe place for expats as well.

I arrived the beach approximately 1:30pm and we had to pay 1000 Naira per head for entry and an extra 500 Naira for parking which we did not get a receipt for. There weren’t a lot of activities, I was really looking forward to having a game of volley ball with my mates but i couldn’t find any net around. The beach was also a bit dirty with no visible bin around to encourage people to dispose their rubbish well. So I could say the 1000 per head wasn’t worth it. Anyways the plus side was that we were able to bring in our drinks and food so we basically made the place fun for ourselves. The horse ride I really anticipated was priced at 2000 Naira for a trip not even up to 100m or 500 Naira to take a picture with the horse. Overall I had fun not cos of the facilities available but because of the people I went with. I was a bit disappointed I would say. One thing I can give a thumbs up to is that the ocean view was fantastic.

The parking spaces too are tricky if you park your car on sand you would need a tow van to get it out even when you pay for parking at the beach. I like beaches but this place isn’t just it for me.
