I went there on a Sunday afternoon and I had a beautiful time. It is such a cozy, intimate space and I absolutely loved the plants inside. Interestingly, they are for sale. The Chef (Daniel - not sure If they have more than one) was so great! I asked him to recommend A salad and a cocktail and he recommended the mango margarita and the spicy chicken salad, which I absolutely LOVED! This place is perfect for an intimate dinner or a special lunch date.

After several chicken pie & muffin orders, I finally visited the Orchid Bistro! It’s a pleasant & very cozy place. The food was great, the service was on time & ‘Emeka’ who waited on us, was very helpful. The Orchid Bistro falls short of a 5 star in my opinion because: A) There is little to no parking space available. B) I’m not sure the entire space can take up to 20 people at a time. I’ll definitely visit again, but I’ll call ahead to book a table.

The food is great and they’ve got highchairs which is a plus since we don’t get a lot of restaurants with high chairs in Lagos to my knowledge. The one only problem i have is the parking space, i got into a tiff with someone over parking because the gatemen won’t do the job of parking you right.

The service was nice and timely. Chef was nice. Helped us keep our phones so we (I went there with cousins) could stay focused on one another. We had a really good time. Food was maaaad-delicious. 7000%! 5 STARS!

What a gem! Faultless service. They go above and beyond. I had a cold and the lovely waiter, Mordecai brought me a hot pot of tea with a freshly squeezed lemon and freshly grated ginger, which was so soothing. The chilli chicken salad was sumptuous too.

It is a cosy place with an outdoor seating area and a nice decor. Loved the different plants outside and inside the bistro, food was amazing and very filling, the price is a bit high but it is good value for money. Would recommend the place for breakfast, desserts and snacks (appetizers)..

If it was possible not to give a star I would. Bought a muffin and hot chocolate drink. Sat down to eat only to be told by the waiter that it was restaurant policy for me to use cutlery. I have to use cutlery to eat a muffin?. I agreed only to be told that I would be CHARGED for the cutlery?! Why would I be charged to use cutlery at a place I bought stuffs from? Who does that? Apparently Orchid Bistro, Ikoyi does! Waiter "politely" insisted that if I did not use cutlery I would have to leave the Bistro. Wow! Wost experience ever!

Food is delicious but a tad expensive for casual dining You must try the home made ginger beer Staff are friendly and knowledgeable They have this rather awkward no laptop policy on the dining tables - use breakfast bar area if you feel inclined to do some work there. Orchids are dreamy of course !

Confession: I go to this Bistro often but its a relationship with mixed feelings. Pros: Well trained staff, super clean restrooms, great ambience, polished food delivery. Cons: If they could just trim their entire menu prices by a solid 30% then it would represent the value the portions presently represent. At the moment its overpriced. My favourite dish by miles remains the grilled lamb chops.

The staff are terrible. Food is overpriced and average.They add a non negotiable 15% service charge for very mediocre service. Lamb shank is 11500 naira and mine was still frozen in the middle.when served on a cold plate. They refused to believe it was frozen until I created a huge fuss. Pretentious place with Hitler like staff.

The main meal was ok . However the service was horrible we waited almost an hour before we got our meal and another long wait to get desert which we were very disappointed in. The apple crumble was a lump of half cooked wet flour and a undetectable layer of apple . The worst part is the bill... they charge 20% SERVICE CHARGE for absolutely horrible service.The waiters have no desire to serve coz they know they know we still pay for their horrible service. We had to chase after reluctant waiters throughout our meal trying to get served . Very disappointed
