C&G is a great spot to start the evening. I attended their Friday hip hop night which was really cool. A great break from Afro beats! The staff were friendly and made me feel welcomed. The crowd was diverse with a wide range of ages and nationalities in attendance. The prices were on the higher end of the spectrum which is to be expected.

This place holds memories... In January 2017, The BookHangout Tribe’s official Hangout took place at Casper and Gambinis. I still remember how those two hangouts went vividly. We had a swell time those 2 days! Unlike most other places, the waiters were not all up in our nose, all in the name of ‘I want to get your order before you settle in.’ And they were still at arms length to be signaled to anytime we needed anything. I love the cool and cozy ambiance that has even gotten more beautiful in their new location. Casper and Gambini’s in Victoria Island changed location but they’re still on the street on Agoro Odiyan - was formally on 1089, now on No19, Agoro Odiyan street, off Adeola Odeku (or off Saka Tinubu, depending on where you’re coming from) Casper and Gambinis, VI - is suitable for dates, group hang out, family lunch or dinner, business meeting.

I visited on a Sunday afternoon with a group of friends. The restaurant had a great ambience and wasn’t packed at all, I loved this. While waiting for our orders, we were served some complementary snacks and fresh bread which were really tasty ( even better than the main meal). I ordered the grilled chicken tikka masala with jasmine rice and this was so disappointing. The curry had a really funny taste and I struggled to eat it. I would probably visit again and try something else on the menu before completely writing the restaurant off.
