Waiters were warm and polite. Food was great and filling actually. I was pleasantly surprised. I had the egg noodles stir fried with shrimps, chicken and beef(shredded). My friend had barbecue chicken wrap(was two wraps) or something like that. It came with chips.

Cactus Restaurant is a beautiful place of dinning on Victoria Island Lagos. Waiting service is top notch and a variety of cuisine are offered here. There is also a beautiful water side view where you get to enjoy the vantage point of a vanishing great beyond and soak in the relaxant air. The aesthetics here too makes you feel the ambience of corporate and classy look.

I love what they’ve done with Cactus now, it’s looks a lot bigger and the ambience is really great. I love that they’re very generous with their pasta servings. I couldn’t even finish it, I had to pack the rest to take home. Their Alfredo pasta is really cheesy and I love it!

I visited Cactus yesterday for the second time. My first experience wasn’t great. I hoped my second experience would be better. I ordered the chicken and shrimp creamy pasta. The waiter brought bread and a butter/olive mix. My pasta came in under ten minutes and I was happy. The chicken chunks were a lot and tasty. I was halfway through my meal when I took a bite of the shrimp. I noticed an off taste, took another shrimp and noticed an even worse taste. The shrimp was definitely bad. I told the waiter and the food was taken away. I was asked to order something else but but my appetite was ruined. I eventually ordered the Alfredo pasta with chicken and mushroom but only took one bite. I also ordered a screwdriver drink and asked for it to be strong. The bartender didn’t disappoint. Overall, I won’t be coming back any time soon.

Cactus has a bakery ice cream and a very wide variety of foods from a diverse menu. Don’t forget to go outside in the back where you can sit down with a children’s play area and watch the boats go by

I visited cactus Lagos and was immediately impressed by the exterior, the collection of plants and cactuses outside to fit the name. The restaurant has a desert and ice cream parlour separate drinks the restaurant. The interior design is so modern and quirky with cool art pieces of cactuses on the wall. The menu is very unique and has dishes you’ve definitely never seen before and I love how they’ve made the menu different and interesting. We ordered shrimp and hot wings as starters and they were both delicious. The hot wings were juicy, covered in a Nigerian inspired red sauce with onions. The mains were even better-I ordered jumbo prawns and they came with a side of chips and salad. The portions at cactus are also incredibly generous so you can come and be full after just having a main meal. Staff were very attentive too. Overall it was an incredible meal and I’ll definitely be back!

Good dishes, car park environment are well secured with security guards all around to direct and guard vehicular movements. Modern, clean decor in the renovated Cactus. New breakfast menu is underwhelming...nothing special. The "sausages" are frankfurters that look and taste like cheap hotdogs. Real sausages would have been good. Also, juice that comes with breakfast is packet juice. You have to order fresh juice separately.

The New revamped Cactus is what i am referring to, something about keeping to standards made this place close up for months on end only to reveal what i call a Lush Experience for any one. Damn, the ambiance got me hooked, a beautiful spot for a proposal to the one you love or a birthday picnic with close pals outdoor with the sea view. The only problem I had there was as much as the waiters tried to help and make sure everything was in order concerning your food, the tiny bit of instruction they would forget. I ordered breakfast and told them no baked beans and fresh orange juice. They didn’t only serve my food with the baked beans it was served with packed juice that had mixed fruits. Little details like this important because I’m allergic to pineapples and that made me upset.

I would definitely be returning.

They recently renovated the place and it looks much more beautiful. The food is really good. They have ice cream, pastry, cakes, bread etc. They have put a small food truck outside, where they serve fresh crepes. The outer portion of the place also has a play area for kids, which is really good for parents as kids would also remain busy and parents too :)

At first, I had a hard time selecting my meal cause the menu options were not very friendly, however I settled for good ol’ burger and fries which turned out good. My friend ordered Pasta Alfredo and it was great! Pizza and spaghetti bolognese were also great options. Take between 6k and 12k for a good meal!

The staff are very mindful of the guests and ready to satisfy. The restroom is uniquely designed; great idea. The cleaning staff need to be cautioned on discussing loudly especially when they observe visitors are around using the restroom. On the whole, Cactus is highly recommended.

Cactus is back!!! The new decor and interior are really nice. Went here on a Sunday for brunch and the restaurant was really packed but the wait time to get a table was short. The waiters were professional and prompt despite the place was full to capacity. The Pineapple Chutney Grouper was just okay. The filet was well cooked but the pineapple chutney was a bit underwhelming. The classic Spicey Shredded Chicken was really good. Will definitely be visiting again.

Awesome Pastry Bought what I initially thought was just an OK cake for my mum. That was before we tasted it. All I can say is - Boy that was one MEAN cake. It had about 3 layers of pure yum - a biscuit base, then a normal cakey layer, then chocolate fudge and then cream, all of which combined to produce what my dad called "a wicked gift" ... we had to fight with all our will to stop as we had to leave some for our cousins.

Staying at the beautiful n very lovely Maroko bayshore suites and all our food comes from there, I wud give the hotel 10stars but really would like to beg them to close this restaurant down. First incident was breakfast-absolutely horrible so I’ve been skipping breakfast, went on to try a very safe option a couple weeks later - ordinary tuna melt (cold cheese not melted followed by cold erything and toasted slices of bread, I had to use the microwave to melt the cheese) horrible again... after long arguments with a friend Who based his opinion on google reviews and advised I choose foods which can be locally sourced to avoid disappointment, I bravely orderd chicken pepper soup(was very thick, salty and tasted like pure Maggi) ewwww nasty as hell, my main dish was the Marina with pasta(what could go wrong with seafood right, crabs were processed foods n I couldn’t recognise any thing apart from the spaghetti on my plate, first it tasted sweet like it was coated in sugar and after a couple of bites I gave up) 5mins later I was throwing up and spent the last 24hrs by the loooo) I reported it immediately to the kitchen staff whom only could offer an apology... this resturant should be out of business as the google reviews don’t reflect the reality of bad cooking and disgusting foods that’s served at premium value. P.s I’ve been at the hotel for a month and their kitchen is still under construction, I’ve found several places who charge reasonable prices but deliver very tasty meals.
