This is the main Nestle Nigeria factory. It is a major manufacturing complex that contains the mini factories that produces all the various products that Nestle Nigeria is known for. Culinary, baby food, cereals, beverages, bottled water etc. It even has plants that produce some intermediate materials that go into the final product e.g. malt.

Nestle factory Agbara is a city of its own. They have couple of rules like every multinationals. But one of their rules that really got me fascinated is that while within the city, you cannot be on the phone and be moving. You must stand on the same spot to finish your call before you proceed to where you are going otherwise dont answer or initiate a call unless when you are not moving. A very good safety measure in an environment where there is both vehicle and human traffic even though the speed limit within the city is between 10 and 20kmph! The company has two canteen for the staff in different locations for the convenience of their staff, all in uniform, tight entry and exit control with well trained securities, big car park among other things

In Nestle (NIG) PLC, security is handled with high esteem.
