Tinubu square is a very busy intersection linking six major roads in the heart of Lagos Island. The entire area is called the major Commercial Business District of Lagos island. The original Central bank of Nigeria is located directly in front of Tinubu square. One of the Christian churches is also sitting beside Tinubu square. Some of the roads terminating on Tinubu square are Alli street, Nnamdi Azikiwe Street, Broad street, etc. Tinubu roundabout usually turns into a place of relaxation in the night time and during weekends and public holidays. It has a waterfall, pools and outdoor sitting and chairs for recreation and entertainment. There are some art sculptures and monuments inside the square. Some people stop by look during the busy working hours of day but it is only during the night and at weekends when the surrounding offices have closed shop that the place takes on a different lease of life.
