If you do not value your comfort and your life you may want to travel with cross country. I traveled with my family and it was like a rip-off. I mean they served us gala rolls that has been eaten by rats. We were meant to travel by 9pm but eventually took off my 1am. They didn’t deem it fit to render an apology or any form of compensation. In all on a scale of 1-10 Hospitality- 0 Comfort- 1 Timing-0 Value for money- 0 Do not even think off going with Cross Country, it’s a scam!

My experience was the worst! How do you tell customers you will take them to Abuja and drop them in Ijebu ode for three hours without any prior notice? besides what’s the need of the stop anyway! As if this wasn’t enough, We were jam packed... my legs were on bags of rice n beans! No A/C and space for luggage! The most awful part is that the lack of customer Service! Okay, boarded a bus from ikom to lagos. Sad part is they moved late by 10am and arrived in Lagos by 2am. The driving was safe and good. But the stop point was a hotel with orange building and horrible food. Other than the stop point every other thing was okay.

My experience with Cross Country was really not a pleasant one. The bus is not very comfortable and there was no AC throughout the 15 hours journey from Lagos state to Calabar. After boarding the bus, we made several stops to pick more passengers. When we stopped at Ogun state to pick more passengers, the seat was too full there was no more space but still they kept collecting more money from people to the extent that people sat on top of bags inside the bus. It was very uncomfortable travelling in such a manner like packed sardines. We got to Calabar safely by 11pm. But the experience travelling with Cross Country was a very unpleasant one, one I never wish to repeat again.

Cross country is another transportation company in the heart of Jibowu; They are the most recognised and viable transporter when it comes to inter-country shuttling. The have luxury buses with comfort similar to that of the aeroplane. They are secured; and dont waste unnecessary time on the road as others, instead they would have vetted their passengers documents and luggage to validate that they are clean.

They’re the most horrible transport company anybody can choose. After booking online, I got an error saying payment was not successful but the money was deducted from my account. Called customer care more than 60 times before somebody picked. Even though he sounded helpful, I got a ticket sent to my mail hours later saying payment was successful. Only for me to get there at 5am and be told my payment did not go through. Long story short, I had to make another payment before getting on the bus..despite the fact I had a bus ticket already. Do no travel with cross-country.
